1 (Not Plumbed) PARTS REQUIRED: Surf Package Kit. (See DealerLink.) TOOLS REQUIRED: Grease pencil; hole saw (1-3/8 ); Bostick 940 (black) or equivalent marine-grade sealant; screwdriver PROCEDURE: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ALL THE WAY THROUGH PRIOR TO UNDERTAKING THE PROCEDURE! Step 1: Locate the existing vent hose from the tank to the side of the hull. (Note: photos for this procedure are taken prior to installation of the deck on the hull. Working in the dealership with the installation complete will be more challenging.) Step 2: Disconnect the vent line from the hullside fitting and the ballast tank. Step 3: Discard the hose.

2 (Not Plumbed - Page 2) 3-1/4 Step 4: The new surf bag vent location is centered 3-1/4 aft of the existing ballast vent on the hulls side. Mark then drill a 1-3/8 hole. Step 5: Install the new vent in the hull. (New vent should be in line with the existing thru-hull fittings.) EXISTING BALLAST VENT FITTING Step 6: Seal with Bostik 940 (black) or equivalent marine-grade sealant.

4 (Not Plumbed - Page 4) Quick connect Step 8: Assemble the bag fill from the T fitting to the quick-connect fitting. Step 9: Assemble the surf bag vent line. Surf bag fill hose Elbow (Elbow connects to Tee fitting at bottom of the vent line assembly shown on previous page.)

5 (Not Plumbed - Page 5) Step 10: Connect the ballast tank vent on the hull side. Surf bag Ballast tank vent line Step 11: Connect the surf bag vent hose to the side vent fitting on the hull.

6 (Not Plumbed - Page 6) Step 12: Place the surf bag inside the storage area with the center connection face-up, and the lower connection aft toward the rear of the boat. Step 13: Using the quick connect fittings, install the new surf bag fill hose to the lower connection, and the vent hose to the center-top outlet of the bag.

7 ( Not Plumbed - Page 7) Step 14: Straighten and smooth the corners of the bag to ensure that it fits in the storage area belown the flange of the storage compartment and will not become entangled during fill.

8 for X2, X10, X25, X30, and X55 ( Not Plumbed - Page 8) 7 Screen Step 15: Move to the dash. Power ON the boat and allow the video screen to boot. On either the 4.3 or 7 screen (as equipped), tap the MENU button.. Step 16: Tap USER SETTINGS (upper left blue icon).

9 ( Not Plumbed - Page 9) Step 17: Tap NEXT to proceed to the next screen. Step 18: Tap BALLAST SETTINGS to move into the ballast timer screen.

10 ( Not Plumbed - Page 10) Step 19: Adjust the timers to the fill times provided for the model as shown on the following chart. Step 20: After the times are set, tap BACK until the MENU screen reappears. 4.3 Screen Step 21: Tap the MENU key to pull up the menu selections. Step 22: Press SELECT to choose USER SETTINGS.

11 (Not Plumbed - Page 11) Step 23:Tap the button for NEXT PAGE. Step 24: Tap the soft key DOWN arrow until the selected highlight is BAL- LAST SETTINGS PAGE. Press SELECT.

12 (Not Plumbed - Page 12) Step 25: Adjust the timers to the setting provided in the table which follows. Step 26: Press BACK twice to get back to the main menu screen. DUE TO THE STRINGENT REQUIREMENTS REGARDING WEIGHT LIMITS ON EACH MODEL, AN ADDITIONAL CHART IS INCLUDED SHOWING WHAT THE ADDED WEIGHT TOTALS ARE WITH FULL BALLAST. FOR SAFETY AND TO PREVENT THE BOAT FROM BEING SUBJECT TO SINKING, ENSURE THAT CONSUMERS UNDERSTAND THIS WEIGHT MUST BE INCLUDED IN CALCU- LATING TOTAL WEIGHT.
