First aider needs to protect himself. Move out of dangerous area. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Symptoms of poisoning may only appear several hours later. : If breathed in, move person into fresh air. Call a physician immediately. Keep patient warm and at rest. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
