2 Containerized Workshop CT20-1 Following the trend for on-site, in-situ repair to reduce down times to a minimum, Ventil supplies a variety of container-based valve repair and test facilities with different configurations, adapted to the valve types, environmental conditions and specific needs of our customers worldwide. The CT20-1 is delivered ready for use. Installed Equipment Test unit VC25CC. Jib Crane (500 kg) Office Desk Workbench with storage shelving and vice. Safety valve nozzle remover / valve fixture / (dis)assembly block. HVAC Unit. The robust constructed clamping device operates with three vertical moving clamping claws that apply a sealing force onto the flange of the safety valve. During clamp procedures the inlet flange is compressed against the fixed clamping table with O-ring gasket. The clamp device can be set to the correct valve size by operating the central hand operated lever that slides the (3) claws simultaneously from- or to the center of the test station. 3 Jib Crane 500 kg Wall mounted jib crane with hand operated chain block for easy (un)loading valves in/outside the container. The container wall is strengthened for the 500 kg crane. Office Desk The office desk is specially fabricated for the use in containers. The workbench exists of a strong steel structure with 2 thick wooden plate. The desk can be used for light mechanical work as well. It is completed with chair and the cupboard can be used for the storage of documentation. Work Bench The large workbench is specially fabricated for the use in containers and exists of a strong structure with 50 mm / 2 thick wooden plate, (lockable) storage cabinets and heavy duty vice. Nozzle Remover / Valve (dis)assembly block This robust structure can be used for safely (dis)assembling (safety) valves and unscrewing the nozzle from the safety valve body. The heavy constructed block is completed with a 4-Jaw chuck to clamp the safety valve on the nozzle or flange. The side of the block is completed with grooves and T-bolts to clamp a valve to ensure safe working position. Accessories Set of additional equipment; fire extinguishers, spiral hose with air gun, documents clipboard, seat leakage measuring set (acc. To API 527), test pressure gauges, high pressure sealing plates. High pressure gas compressor and air storage cylinders The compressor system features a 100 liters storage system and a facility for the supply and storage of low pressure air for the use inside the container. The high pressure compressor also supplies low pressure (utility) air for running the test unit and other low volume applications. To prevent a disturbing noise level inside the work shop area, the compressor is placed inside the utility room at the back of the container.

5 Optional Systems and Tools. Option 48. Computer Registration System The Ventil Computer Registration System (CRS) exist of a laptop computer, set of accurate pressure transducers, A/D conversion unit and in house developed PSV test software. The main purposes are: Digital reading of test pressure, test time etc. Verifying found test results against test standards (ASME. API) or other (client) programmed tolerance. Storing and printing customized test report or test certificate. Working in Native Language The CRS can be set in a variety of languages. If a language is not standard installed, a translation function can be used to adapt the program text. Support and Trouble shooting Need help, an upgrade or additional function, the Ventil IT service department is available for answering questions. The remote access over internet allows efficient and quick service anytime, anywhere. Customized Test Report / Certificate The Ventil CRS is completed with report generator function to design a customized test certificate lay-out. This includes add texts, adapting the language, placing company logo and other details at the report. System Configuration State of the art Computer system (windows 7 pro.) Option 122. V-Tec Polir F6 PSV Lapping /Grinding unit. Portable, battery driven machine for grinding and lapping flat sealing faces of globe- and safety valves.

The Polir F6 is standard equipped with a range of grinding and center plates for grinding and lapping any type and size of flat seats.

Abrasives The Polir F6 is completed with a large consumer quantity of polyester based, 3M self-adhesive aluminum oxide round foil tips in grains rough, middle and fine.

The low weight and good balance of the machine increases the grinding performance and makes it easier to attain high quality flat results.

6 Option 122. V-Tec Polir F6 PSV Lapping /Grinding unit. Portable, battery driven machine for grinding and lapping flat sealing faces of globe- and safety valves. The Polir F6 machine is designed for on-site or in-shop valve reconditioning. The light weight machine is equipped for a full, universal range up to 6 / DN150 mm. The Polir F6 is standard equipped with a range of grinding and center plates for grinding and lapping any type and size of flat seats. The center plate keeps the grinding plate in position, but also gives an eccentric, orbital rotation ensuring complete coverage and absolute flatness. Abrasives The Polir F6 is completed with a large consumer quantity of polyester based, 3M self-adhesive aluminum oxide round foil tips in grains rough, middle and fine. The foil tips can be used dry and on all common seat materials. Drive machine The Polir F6 is standard equipped with a battery driven machine and is delivered with two batteries. The low weight and good balance of the machine increases the grinding performance and makes it easier to attain high quality flat results. Complete clamping and test facility for pressure vacuum (breather) valves, vacuum breakers and other large (tank) safety valves in the range 2-24 / DN 50-600 mm.

The clamping table is mounted over the nozzle remover and can turned down from its locked storage position against the wall, using the jib crane.

The package includes: 2 Shop air inlet filters. 2 Block / release needle valves. 4 Sets of high pressure seals for valves up to Pressure switch.. Option 93. Vacuum Breather Valve Test Facility. Complete clamping and test facility for pressure vacuum (breather) valves, vacuum breakers and other large (tank) safety valves in the range 2-24 / DN mm. This combination of systems is designed for low pressure gas and vacuum test procedures 500 mmwc (20 InchWC) to +7 bar / 100 PSI. The clamping table comes with six manual operated T-bolt type clamps. The clamping table is mounted over the nozzle remover and can turned down from its locked storage position against the wall, using the jib crane. The delivery includes dedicated sealing plates (vulcolan) and a separate control panel to operate the test systems. Option 94. Optic 15 Flat Lapping machine. The V-Tec OPTIC is a Flat lapping and Polishing machine for high precision and fine finishing of the sealing faces of (safety) valve and components up to a diameter of 240 mm. / 9,5. The frame mounted open face OPTIC is built on rigid metal construction with a height adjustment and waste tank. The machine incorporates a fully automatic Liquid Diamond Dispensing System and process timer and adjustable speed knob. The OPTIC flat lapping machines are used in valve repair shops for fine finishing of all common PSV discs, seats or complete nozzles. Only optical flat lapping can be used for reaching the so important required seat tightness of metal seated Safety valves, used in the oil- & gas industry. The V-Tec OPTIC lapping plate and standard supplied consumables are specially selected for this purpose. The OPTIC can be used to reach a flatness accuracy within 3 light bands. The OPTIC is specially designed and equipped for the use in valve repair, but for a long and reliable working effect, it needs to be placed in a dedicated lapping room.

Option 95. Optical Flats and Monochromatic Light. Optical flats are optical-grade, lapped and polished glass pieces which are extremely flat (about 25 nanometres).

When the valve seat or disc and optical flat are placed under the monochromatic light, the surface is illuminated and the light waves reflect off both the bottom surface of the flat and the surface

8 Option 95. Optical Flats and Monochromatic Light. Optical flats are optical-grade, lapped and polished glass pieces which are extremely flat (about 25 nanometres). They are used in combination with a monochromatic light to determine the flatness of the lapped valve seat or disc. When the valve seat or disc and optical flat are placed under the monochromatic light, the surface is illuminated and the light waves reflect off both the bottom surface of the flat and the surface of the seat. The reflected waves interfere, creating a pattern of interference fringes (Newton's rings), visible as light and dark bands. The spacing between the fringes is smaller where the gap is changing more rapidly, indicating a departure from flatness in one of the two surfaces, in a similar way to the contour lines on a map. A flat surface is indicated by a pattern of straight, parallel fringes with equal spacing, while other patterns indicate uneven surfaces. Two adjacent fringes indicate a difference in elevation of one-half wavelength of the light used, so by counting the fringes differences in elevation of the surface can be measured to millionths of an inch. The delivery includes a laminated poster with operating instructions and indicative guidelines of levels of flatness.
