Hazard Identification and Plan of Control Pack-In e.g. moving vehicles, manual handling, shared workspaces, work at heights etc Moving vehicle accidents P N M Speed limits around stadium and in the stadium car parks Venue Each Day of Injuries when setting up for E Y M Host to complete signage set up Pre Finals Set up P N M Moving awards table out to the finals court, have 2 or more people carrying table. High Risk Hazards e.g. work at heights, flying operations, pyrotechnics etc, confined spaces, hazardous substances, moving set pieces Injuries when setting up seating or other equipment Event Hazards e.g., electrical, set or staging structures, noise, lasers, trips, falls Last day of P N M Seating and equipment set up by trained. Define playing space E N I Using the marked court lines make sure players, spectators and officials know the defined playing area and PA in use to remind spectators when in areas they shouldn t be. 3 Environmental Hazards e.g. exposure to weather e.g. UV, heat, cold, level of light, strobe lighting Power cut- inadequate lighting P N M Emergency Procedures, to Cover in the technical meeting. Earthquake/Natural disaster P Y M Emergency Procedures, to Cover in the technical meeting. People Hazards e.g. age, fitness, children, skills, number - crowds, security Injuries to players, spectators or staff Spectators distracting players, abusing officials etc E Y M to explain injury procedures in technical meeting/draw letter including where ice is kept, who to go to for basic first aid, if there is an onsite physio and record injury forms. E Y M - Keep spectators away from teams by physical barriers - Spectators encouraged to sit in available seating - Spectator made aware of Appropriate Behaviourincluding ejection from facility if required, to manage the situation and call police if required. Crowd control E N I If the crowd volume becomes too congested the need to ensure that the crowd is disputed safely. This includes set up and delivery of the finals. Available seating for spectators will be covered in the technical meeting/draw letter. General Hazards e.g. Smoking, alcohol, drugs, fatigue, hours of work, manual handling, lone working People impaired by alcohol/drugs P N M BBNZ Alcohol & Drug free, People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be removed by. 4 Blood on court P Y E Follow Blood kit procedure. Location of Blood kits will be covered in the technical meeting/draw letter. Site Specific hazards e.g. any hazards identified by venue that may impact on /activities Wet floors-courts E Y M Clean up any Blood or liquids on the floor up immediately Hoops P Y I Ensure hoops are safe for use including no broken nets. Hoops are locked in place and anchored. Pack Out e.g. moving vehicles, manual handling, shared workspaces, work at heights etc Each morning visual check Pack down of P N M Any signage to be carefully lifted, completed by.
