The purpose of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its Regulations is to tell all workplace parties how to make the workplace safe. 2. Ontario s Health and Safety System is supported by a partnership between the Ministry of Labour, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and various health and safety associations.
