32 SAFETY VAVES Instructions for setting and lifting of spring operated safety valves witout TÜV test certificate To set te valves to te required pressure, please proceed as follows: emove te screw (1) and te bonnet (2). For closed valve versions no. 618 T and 619 E (witout sketc) unscrew cap nut. Unscrew lock nut (3) by turning anticlockwise. Tigten pressure screw (4) to te required pressure. Screwing-in increases pressure Screwing-out reduces pressure Tigten lock nut (3) by turning clockwise. eplace bonnet and screw / replace cap nut and tigten it. Te valve is set. A good working order can be re-acieved by simply cleaning te valve on site, provided te seat gasket as not been damaged yet. First relieve te valve of te pressure (please see paragrap "lifting ). Afterwards unscrew te complete bonnet including te diapragm and seat gasket from te body wit a suitable valve fork spanner (do not use pliers). Tis will neiter affect te set pressure nor will te seal be damaged. After cleaning of seat and seat gasket wit a fine brus and a clot, return te bonnet and tigten it sligtly. Press te seat gasket back to te seat by turning te knurled nut (clockwise) to te end stop. Te valve will work properly again. ifting: ift te seat gasket from te seat by turning te knurled nut (anticlockwise).
