2 The history of Klarity dates back to the 1960 s and a laboratory in Wilmington, Delaware. There Dr. Lester M. Larson created the world s first thermoplastic splinting material. His work provided the foundation for all of today s lowtemperature medical thermoplastics. Dr. Larson and his son, Peter, founded Larson Medical Products in 1989, in Columbus, Ohio. Ten years later, a collaboration with Dr. Deren Zhan of Guangzhou, China led to the founding of Klarity Medical and Equipment Company.
