16 COMMERCIAL CUSTOMER CATALOGUE BALLOON GAS Safety Advice & Operating Instructions Balloon Gas is a safe,non-flammable,non-poisonous gas which is lighter than air. It can be used safely either indoors or outside.you should never deliberately inhale balloon gas as it is an asphyxiant. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR FIRST CYLINDER OF BALLOON GAS Partnering with Store the cylinder in an upright position and secure properly to prevent toppling. Always keep the cylinder in a well ventilated area. Do not store in damp areas. Fire hazards and sources of heat should be avoided. In the event of a fire, vacate the area and call the Fire Brigade informing them that the cylinder of balloon gas is there. To avoid accidents, as balloon gas is stored at high presssure, the cylinder valve should never be opened without the appropriate filling kit attached and should be tightly closed when the cylinder is not in use. Ensure there is good ventilation when cylinders are carried in vans or cars and that cylinders are always secured during transit. You must always remove the filling kit if moving the cylinder any distance or ceasing to use it. Remember to turn off the cylinder valve and release pressure in the filling kit before removing it. Do not deliberately inhale helium - although not poisonous, it can result in suffocation. Keep all children away from cylinders and balloon filling apparatus. To avoid damage and potential accidents do not move cylinder with filling unit attached. Please return the cylinder when empty along with the filling kit. The cylinder and filling kit (unless the latter has been purchased) remain the property of the Balloon Man. Balloon Man will supply customers with the necessary Health & Safety information regarding the storing and management of helium cylinders. Helium itself is an inert gas (non explosive, non flammable and non toxic). However as with all gas, caution is required to ensure safe handling. The helium cylinder must be secured to avoid falling. This can be achieved through wall bracketing or the possession of a cylinder trolley which Balloon Man can supply. (The price for the trolley is available on request) Secure cylinder. Attach inflator hand tight. Slowly open cylinder valve. Latex Balloon Hold the neck of the balloon over rubber tip and push tip down to inflate. TERMS & CONDITIONS Foil Balloon If using foil inflator, hold neck of balloon over nozzle and push back, release when balloon is inflated. After inflation close cylinder valve then push tip to release surplus gas. BUYER QUALIFICATION & TRAINING Balloon Man Ltd sells balloons, balloon accessories and party supplies to commercial customers who purchase products for resale. To qualitfy for a commercial account, customers must provide proof of business identity with a VAT number before placing first order. A new customer application form must be filled out before placing an order. Please us at info@balloonman.ie for an application. On the opening of a new store, the Balloon Man will provide onsite instructions on using the helium (gas) cylinder and regulator valves. Balloon Man can provide Health & Safety information. MINIMUM PURCHASES Minimum Order Amount: Minimum order volume is published on your price list. Orders under the minimum are subject to a handling charge. Minimum Purchase Quantity: Packaged Foil Balloons - 5/6 units packaged per style. Flat Latex Balloons - 25 units per colour. ORDERING Phone Orders: Call us on Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM. Orders: orders to info@balloonman.ie. Please include the item number, item description and quantity of each item on your order plus special instructions regarding back orders or critical items needed. Order Processing Time: An order confirmation will be sent via within 24 hours of submission. Once an order is confirmed and within payment terms, it willt typically ship within 48 hours. Order Changes: To ensure order quality no additions or deletions to orders can be accommodated once the order is submitted to our warehouse. Please ensure orders are complete when placed. Additions will be entered on a new order and we will attempt to ship both orders together, but it is not guaranteed. Backorders: We automatically create back orders for out of stock merchandise that will ship when available. If backorders can not be accommodated, notify us upon placement of order or receipt of confirmation document. Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will be charged for all cancelled/refused items or orders. PAYMENT OPTIONS Terms: With approved credit, we will ship your order on an open 30-day account. Credit approval generally requires 10 business days after receipt of a signed, completed credit applicaiton. Credit Cards: We accept Visa debit/credit, Mastercard and Laser and PayPal and encourage first time customers to use this method of payment. Payments: We accept cheques and money transfers over 1,000. Return Cheque Fee: We charge 25 for each returned cheque. SHIPPING Free Freight: A free freight threshold is published on your price list and applies to balloons and most accessories (not helium cylinders). Please contact us for shipping quotes on displays. This charge is passed on to the customer. The management of these charges is dependent on the return of empty cylinders when full ones are provided.
