The "flake size" control varies the speed of the pump, and therefore the amount of fluid sprayed. More evaporating snow fluid results in more and larger clusters of bubbles. If the machines are placed 10 foot off the ground we will need smaller flakes to make the snow evaporate before the flakes hits the ground. If the machines are placed 30 feet off the ground a larger flake size can be used.
