8 Training Regular Training Saturday & Sundays Morning Session: 9:00 am 11:00 am Afternoon Session: 12:00 pm 2:00 pm Meet at WPRC Training Center at the base of Tyrol Wednesday Night Gates (additional fee = $100) U14 and older January February 6:00 pm 8:00 pm Christmas Camp Day after Christmas through New Years Eve Regular training sessions New Years Eve is morning session only No Training: 12/24 & 12/ WPRC. 9 Reminders for Younger Kids.(and Parents) Be Prompt: For our U10 racers, we meet at the training center promptly at 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.have kids dressed and ready to go After Practice: Establish a meeting place for your child after practice at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm U10 coaches will ensure your child meets up with you, but please be prompt Example meeting locations: o WPRC training center o Beginner area by the Polar Express (a.k.a. base of the 6 Pack) Gear and Weather: Please be sure your children are dressed for the weather: neck gators, hand warmers, etc. Concerns: Notify your coaches of any concerns or questions 2018 WPRC. 21 Ski Rule Changes US Ski & Snowboard Release update to ski rules in May 2017 FIS vs. National requirements PARA Acknowledgement of Ski Rules form Control of equipment for scored races (U16+) is allowed, but not required WPRC Head coach to meet with U14 / U16 / U19 age groups over Christmas Camp: Review ski rules Discuss sportsmanship and expectations of coaches and athletes Visually inspect intended race equipment Race equipment must be inspected by head coach for athlete to be represented by WPRC coach 2018 WPRC.
