5 - Departure Information Check-out Process When you leave, please turn off all the lights and a/c s and return the keys to our office (Do not leave the keys at the condo/house or with the security guard). Check-out Time Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. no exceptions. If you expect to check-out before our office opens in the morning, please make arrangements with us in advance about where to leave your keys. Departure Tax The departure tax is not always included on your airline ticket, it will be $29. Please work with your airline to make sure it was already paid, if not, it must be paid at the airport.

Tel: or us at rpmservices@rpmvacationrentals. National Parks Estuary tour: 2 hour guided tour by boat into the rivermouth, part of the Las Baulas National park. Price per person, $35. Palo Verde: If you want to experience wildlife, take a boat tour in this beautiful national park: great birding,

9 white face and howler monkeys, crocodiles, etc. Price per person $95 (Includes transportation and lunch) Rincon de La Vieja (Day Tour): If you are looking for a full day of activities, this is your tour. You ll find canopy tours, horseback riding, hiking trails, hanging bridges, waterfalls, hot springs, water slides, rappelling, kayaking, tubing and more. $135 a person, including transportation, all activities and local lunch. Water Activities Catamarans: Snorkel and sunset tour aboard a Catamaran. The tour includes a sail outside and around Tamarindo Bay, snorkeling, and sail until sunset. The trip includes snacks, lunch, open bar, and free pick-up. Price of the tour is $85. Sail boats: Antares is an 80 foot Sparkman and Stephens schooner. We are anchored in Costa Rica's beautiful Tamarindo bay. Antares was built in 1947 and has won races around the world. This beautiful ship is family owned and operated. $85

10 Serendipity is a beautiful 50 foot Beneteau Oceanis, the ultimate way to experience the Guanacaste Coast Line. She is such a fine yacht, that she was featured on the cover of Sail Magazine. Only private trips. From $700. Captain island kayaking: As you row through the blue smooth waters of Tamarindo beach towards the white sand Capitán Island, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful colors of the water, and observe underwater coral reef, and exotic fish. This tour is perfect to be done with the family. Departure according to tide - Snorkeling equipment and drinking water included. $45 per person. Fishing: Costa Rica has some of the best Sport Fishing in the world: Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, Snapper, and more. There are a good number of boats in Tamarindo for ½, ¾ of a day and full day fishing trips. Price range goes between $600 for a half day and $1500 for a full day.please check with us for the options and availability. Prices will depend also on the size of the boat and company. Surfing : If you are a beginner Tamarindo is the perfect surfing spot for you! Take a lesson, private or in group to enjoy this popular sport and activity. The private lesson is $65 for a couple of hours. The group lesson is $45 per person. For the more advanced surfers, take a trip to beaches around like Playa Grande, Playa Avellanas o Negra to enjoy bigger waves. Better even, Ollie s Point surf trip and Witch s Rock surf trip will allow you to surf two of the bet waves in all of Central America on the same day.

11 Ground Activities Zipline: The 2 hour canopy consists of 11 cables, a swinging bridge and a rappel. Very fun, speed and good heights. Cost of $55 per person. Horseback riding Option 1 (Conchal): The first part will be a ride through small towns, where to enjoy great views, talk to locals, observe how they live and work. After almost one hour there will be a stop in a local soda (rest) for refreshment. The last part of the horseback ride will be on some of the most beautiful white sand beaches ending in the paradisiac Conchal Beach. Cost of the 2 hour and a half tour is $55 per person. Option 2 (Stallion): A 2 hour relaxing horseback ride in pristine nature on a 1500 acre private ranch with your own cowboy guide. Our horses are well trained & friendly tour ponies. No traffic & cars, no dust, just prestine jungle trails. You will see amazing trees, howler monkeys, birds, iguanas, & amazing 360% sunset views. Cost of $55 per person for the morning ride and $75 per person for the sunset ride + BBQ buffet. Option 3 (Aventura) is developing ecological tourism while preserving the natural values of life on a Costa Rican ranch. You will find yourself over-looking the tranquil pastures and raising your eyes to colorful rolling hills and dense mountain forests. Imagine leaving their welcome center (a remodeled 80 year old Costa Rican home) on horseback, riding through the beautiful pastures, crossing two rivers before ascending to the first platform of Canopy Pura Aventura. Two hour ride. Cost of $55 per person. ATV

12 Tamarindo: Incredible views from the top of the mountains and of the wild life will make this tour simply unforgettable. We recommend this trip for the all family. Cost of $75 per driver (2 hours). The Golden tour will lead you through paths of the deep forest, up to the golden beaches or southern Tamarindo. Following the guide you will be able to spot animals such as howler monkeys, eagles, tropical birds and iguanas. Cost of $99 per driver (3 hours). Biking: Las Catalinas, Costa Rica maintains over 33 Km of world-class coastal single-track mountain bike and hiking trails with spectacular ocean views that will astound you. The 1.5 Hour $60 per person. $90 3 Hour tour is $90 per person (minimum 2). Turtle Tours Turtle watching: North to Playa Tamarindo, at a secluded beach lost in the middle of pure nature, we have the possibility of observing three different species. Turtle watching is guaranteed, however turtle nesting will depend on the conditions at the beach. Price: $45 per person. Pick up: 7PM. Ostional National Wildlife Refuge: A natural occurring phenomena where the Olive Ridley invades the Ostional community. Massive arrivals of fleets of turtles will reach the coast and in a time frame of 3 up to 4 days, a number of approximately 200,000 up to 500,000 individuals will flood the coast for the marvelous nesting process. Price: $70 per person. Pick up: 7PM. (August to December)

15 - Beaches Playa Langosta Right next to Tamarindo. Beautiful sunsets and you can enjoy and relax next to the estuary and still feel the ocean. If you are an intermediate surfer this is the place to practice your skills. Playa Avellanas Extraordinary offshore waves that can reach up to eighteen feet, making it an ideal destination for experienced surfers from around the world. Additionally, this secluded white sand beach invites tranquility and peace. It is a great spot to sit by the beachfront bar and take in the sights and sounds of the ocean. A very special feature of the beach is "Lola", the 400 kg pig that will be there to welcome you at the beach bar or in the shallow parts of the surf.

16 Playa Flamingo While Tamarindo maybe the most developed beach resort along the Guanacaste coastline, Playa Flamingo is still one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Situated on the country s Gold Coast, Playa Flamingo is located in Punta Salinas, northwest of Bahia Brasilito. Flamingo Beach with its stunning fine white sand and diverse beaches surrounding it makes this one of Central America's most incredible coastal destination. Playa Conchal At Playa Conchal, the sand is composed of millions of tiny crushed shells that rustle beneath your feet. The mesmerizing beach is surrounded by turquoise waters, and it sits in a bay next to Playa Brasilito. The clear waters of Playa Conchal make it a wonderful place for swimming or snorkeling with an array of tropical fish. Playa Dantita Just north of Playa Flamingo, Danta is a remote paradise. Nestled in a bay, and popular for its calm seas, Playa Danta is ideal for paddleboarding, snorkeling, and kayaking. Protected from wind and waves, the Playa Danta bay is teaming with marine animal life and creates idyllic conditions to peer through clear waters from your paddle board or kayak. Be sure to bring a camera, as the sights will be plentiful! Nearby you can also enjoy flat to low slope, and more than 10 kilometers of mountain biking terrain to for days of fun in the sun.

17 - Golf Courses Hacienda Pinilla The Golf Course at Hacienda Pinilla offers one of the finest settings for links enjoyment in a country renowned for its golf tradition. This par 72 course, which can play up to 7,200 yards, was designed to enhance the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla, giving golfers an exceptional and immaculately conditioned place to enjoy a round with family and friends. Conchal You sink your tee into the perfectly manicured tee box grass as you imagine the perfect tee shot on the most perfect of golf courses. On one side are breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean; on the other, the lush forests of the Northern Costa Rican Coast stretch towards the azure sky. 18 - National Parks Palo Verde Palo Verde National Park has a uniquely dichotomous character. It s simultaneously a spectacular wetlands and one of the best examples of tropical dry forests remaining anywhere in the world. This dual nature is a result of the Río Tempisque flooding over land located in a relatively arid climate region. Rincón de la Vieja Encompassed by the scenic Guanacaste Mountain Range, the Rincon de la Vieja cinder volcano sits amid 34,800 acres of national park territory. It is a great place to escape from Guancaste's sun-splashed beaches and to enjoy cool air, refreshing waterfalls, beautiful birds, and fantastic hiking. Its unique environment offers a different kind of Guanacaste vacation experience.

27 Langosta Beach Club Gorgeous ocean front beach club with cabanas, bar and infinity pool open to the public. Fabulous restaurant open for lunch and dinner. If you would like to spend the day and use the pool, you can purchase a day pass for $20 which also goes towards your meal bill. 37 - Rules & Regulations Pets Pets are not allowed. Smoking Policy Smoking is not allowed. Complex / Subdivision Rules Common Areas and House Exterior Rules: 1. No use of pool before 7am or after 11pm

No loud partying inside houses after midnight if noise/ music can be heard by Casablanca neighbors 2. No smoking inside houses 3. 39 - Safety Information Security Tamarindo is a safe and friendly town, but like many areas of Central America, there is a fair amount of theft. Be aware and protect your money and your valuables at all times. When you leave the house or condo, make sure all windows and doors are closed properly and locked. Put computers, ipods, cameras, purses etc. away and out-of-sight. If possible, please put them in the safe. Leave passports/id, electronics, jewelry, or any valuables in the safe provided in your unit or the RPM office. Carry only a copy of your passport when you are out and about. Do not leave any valuables unprotected on the beach. Do not leave any valuables in your rental car, even if the car is locked. Please keep computers, cameras, wallets, etc. in your bedrooms at night. Do not leave them outside by the pool or in front of open windows. Neither RPM Services or Tropical Vacations will be held liable for any loss related to theft, or held liable for articles left in the rental unit after you have checked out.
