4 HEATER DESIGN PHILOSOPHY OF SWIMMING POOL Swimming pools have been in use for thousands of years and continue to be a wonderful relaxing and entertaining addition to any private or public leisure complex. Modern swimming pools are becoming ever more sophisticated and the systems that support them need to keep up. It is no longer enough to source the best available components and put them together in a plant room. The system needs to be compatible and thatʼs when our swimming pool design comes into picture. SKIMMER SYSTEM Water is removed from the pool via a skimmer which has a flap lid that positions itself according to the surface of the water. The water is then taken to the filtration plant purified and the fresh water is circulated into the pool. (Diagram A) DECK DRAIN SYSTEM Deck drain system provides an effective drainage system for concrete pools.
