I have been working in the UK leisure industry for over 35 years and established Catalina Spas Ltd in 1997 to offer a range of beautiful handmade spas and swimspas, now in our 21st year we are one of the UK s longest established spa and swimspa suppliers. Over the years the original Catalina range has been expanded to include Dream Maker Spas and Clearwater spas. In 2017 we adopted the trading name Aqua Design and Leisure to better showcase our extensive range of products. We are a family business supported by a dedicated team of professionals who are all keen to provide you with the very best support. 14 Catalina Signature Swimspas American Made As with our Catalina Signature Spa range the Catalina Signature Swimspas are all made in America and offer the peace of mind of a product developed and produced following years of manufacturing experience using tried and tested components. Affordable Since their development and introduction in 2016 these Catalina Signature Swimspas have proven to be very popular. The CSS-12 ECO is our entry level model with 35 Hydrotherapy jets, a river jet and 2 pumps. The CSS-12 and CSS-16 include a host of standard features including; music, perimeter lighting, water features and rowing kit, when price compared in the market they represent extremely good value for money and considerably less expensive than a swimming pool. Functional Design With length options of 3.78m and 5.0m, depth of 1.42m and seating for 3, they are great for either the serious swimming workout or an intense hydrotherapy massage. Their deeper design is ideal for aquarobic exercising, as well as many other water based exercise regimes. 19 Indoor/Enclosed Installations Environmental Control Systems - Specially designed for indoor pools, swimspas and spas. Our Environmental Control Systems meet the demands and offer the comfort of enclosed bathing without the common bad experiences of hot, oppressive and the smells often associated with traditional pool halls. We have developed with Heatstar, a British manufacturer, what we believe to be the very best environmental control technology. The systems are UK building regulations compliant for both residential and non-residential installations. They feature full rate fresh air ventilation with Cross Flow heat recuperator. The CATXF500 uniquely utilises the latest Blue-EC ultra-efficient digital inverter fan system, an ultra-efficient intelligent digital inverter fan technology to offer the best possible energy efficiency and the lowest operating cost of any such system. We offer the CATXF250 suitable for smaller pool rooms with reduced glazing and the CATXF500 for larger rooms with extensive glazing. All units are sized specifically for the project please call our support team for sizing. 20 Water Treatment Systems ADL Water Treatment Systems - The ADL water treatment systems will monitor, log and automatically dose sanitiser and ph reducer (acid) to help maintain the water chemistry in either a pool, swimspa or spa. The standard system measures ph and ORP (Sanitiser) and can be upgraded to measure free chlorine. Other features include stored data to enable water readings history to be checked and printed. Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection upgrade will allow remote monitoring via computer or mobile device. In addition to the option of being fitted to any of our spas and swimspas, the systems can be retro fitted to most pools, swimspas and spas. It only requires 20lts/hr flow rate (40-50ltrs/hr for Free Chlorine) and needs to monitor between 12 16hrs/day The ADL water treatment systems are available 3 unique and different models; Wall Mount where the system can be fixed to a plant room wall and the chemicals dispensed from containers at floor level Thermo Housing a special designed weather proof and insulated housing incorporating the controls and chemical containers In Cabinet - Where the controller can be installed in a cabinet or enclosure. 23 Delivery and Commissioning With over 20 years experience delivering spas and swimspas there is nothing we have not seen before. What may seem an almost impossible delivery to you, very often is all in a day s work for us. We offer 3 main types of delivery Spa Dolly deliveries, Hiab deliveries and Crane Deliveries. For more information on options and prices please call us on Spa Dolly Deliveries Using our Spa Dolly and other specialist equipment we can deliver and position spas measuring up to 2.4 metres square. Using a Spa Dolly or Spa Sled enables us to deliver spas on their sides. This means that width of access required is only the height of the spa. Prices start at just 360. Hiab Deliveries Using our preferred lifting contractors, we can deliver and position spas and swimpsa using Hiab trucks. We have a full fleet of vehicles in several sizes and configurations at our disposal, with which, we can reach up to 25 metres with spas and 20 metres with swimspas. Crane Deliveries Sometimes our Hiabs do not have the required reach, but that s not a problem as we also work with several national crane companies. Just sit back and let us arrange everything. Our team can arrange transport, site surveys, crane lifts, traffic management, permits and much more. Please call for a quote. Commissioning We offer a comprehensive and professional delivery, positioning and commissioning service. When the spa or swimspa is in position and connected by your electrician we will carry out the following; Initial Fill we will fill the spa and check all connections, components and features. Ensuring nothing has come loose in transit. Customer Product Training With the spa up and running we will run through all features, controls and settings. We show you how everything works and guide you on the best settings for your expected usage levels. Initial Chemical Set Up using the chemical starter kit provided by us we will set the chemicals in the tub. Using advanced testing equipment we will test the water, set all levels and offer advice on the kind of water care needed for your specific type of water. Customer Chemical Training We will talk you through how to use chemicals safely, how to set and manage your own water chemistry to best care for you. Spa Care Training finally we will teach you how to care for your spa, including how and when to change the filters, how and when to change the water as well as how to clean the spa and cover. Land, Sea and Air We are of the opinion that when it comes to installing spas and swimspas, nothing is impossible! In the past we have delivered with tractors, boats and even helicopters. Our overflow models, which are also all one piece acrylic, come with integrated gutters and drains. All shells are supplied fully plumbed and include a welded aluminium support frame with adjustable feet. We believe that the operating systems for commercial, residential in ground or deck level spas need to be designed to the client s exact requirements. The deposit amount will vary depending on your selected model and will be greater if you chose to special order a spa not held in stock. Deposits are non refundable. We never ask for full payment with order, and be wary of any company that does! You will be asked for the balance payment prior to release of goods for delivery.
