This means it will be easier to get the safety cover on and off your pool. Mesh covers will also allow ra water and meltg snow to pass through the cover to the pool. Most of the time, covers are gog to be less expensive than solid covers. SOLI SFTY OVRS The big advantage of a solid cover is that it will prevent sunlight and fe particles from enterg the water. This will prevent dirt and algae from buildg up the pool, keepg it cleaner over the wter. If you are replacg a safety cover, and the old cover is not available, please use Type 2 structions for - measurements as well. STP 2: The diagrams below show the required measurements for each type of pool shape. Select the shape that most closely matches your particular pool, and list your measurements accordgly here & on the diagram you created. e sure they are side waterle dimensions! 2 TYP 2 POOLS STP 1: Usg the graph paper provided, draw an accurate diagram dicatg the side pool dimensions. Include the deck area, planters, and any other obstructions that are with 18 of the waterle. Photographs of the pool are required when you have rocks, waterfalls, raised walls, spas, or anythg other than a simple, unbroken copg perimeter. STP 2: stablish two pots to be called and, parallel to the long side of the pool. These pots should be at least 25 feet apart (or 2/3 the total length of the pool), and able to be easily marked with maskg tape (or stakes if the lawn). must be to the le of as you face the pool. e sure to provide the distance between and as you face the pool. Note: The - le must never tersect the pool and must be at least 4 feet away from any marked pot (pool, anchors, and obstructions) regardless of how far back the le needs to be extended. STP 3: Usg maskg tape and waterproof marker, mark and number pots along the side edge of the pool at a maximum of 2 foot tervals. e sure to identify all non-removable obstruction pots when fillg your measurements on the measurg chart provided. lways number a clockwise direction. Number all corner pots, direction changes, ladders, handrails, grab rails, slide legs, rocks, spillways, spa walls that separate the spa and pool, fill spouts, and dive stands that are not removable. IMPORTNT: lso number any anchors from a previous safety cover. 1 foot tervals should be used small or tight radius areas. Usg chalk, establish two pots and, roughly three to four feet from the edge of the pool at least half the length of the pools distance (usually length). When facg the pool, Pot must be on your le and Pot on your right (see drawg). The Le must not cross the edge or water of the pool. ll measurements from the numbered pots must touch pot and at exactly the same pot. Record the distance measurement of - the space dicated on the measurg form. 2. Usg chalk, make a mark and number pots at the edge of the copg, two feet apart around the perimeter of the pool. Include all non-removable objects with 3 feet of the pool s edge. 3. Next, measure the distance between Pot and Pot 1 then to pot 2 and so on... until you have gone all the way around the pool. Record each measurement on the - Measurement Sheet. 4. Now measure the distance from POINT to all of the numbered pots, usg the same process that you did for Pot. Record each measurement on the - Measurement Sheet. 5. Fally, measure the overall width and length of the pool by selectg numbered pots that represent these distances. It is also helpful if you provide four ross imension measurements 2 for the width and 2 for the length of the pool.
