2 SAP WC Final Next page World Cup Ranking Special World Cup ranking lists (different from fluent ranking list generally used to determine seeded couples for World and Continental championships) are established for each year. Only those categories that can participate in the SAP World Cup Final are affected by these ranking lists : RR Juveniles BW Juniors RR Juniors BW Seniors RR Main Class Contact Style BW Main Class RR Main Class Free Style These World Cup ranking lists are named : World Cup "year" "category" e.g. : World Cup 2018 Main Class Free Style The World Cup ranking list of each category is aimed at the selection of the best couples of the year for the SAP World Cup Final. Each couple in each category adds points based on the results of the World Cup of the year.

3 Previous page SAP WC Final World Cup Ranking All the results of the World Cups of the year except one, the one for which the couple got the lowest number of points, are taken into account in the total points. If a couple does not participate in a World Cup then a number of points equal to zero is given to him. In this case, the points obtained in all the other World Cups which he participated will be counted in his total of points. The couples will be ranked in descending order of their total of points, the first being the one that totals the most of points, and the last being the one that totals the least. The points from World Cup Final are added to all other points and together with previous points used to determine the final placement on the World Cup ranking. Wild Card couples who are invited to participate in SAP World Cup Final will not capitalize any additional points on the World Cup ranking list of the year whatever the result obtained during this competition.

4 SAP WC Final Selection of participants The couples participating in the SAP World Cup Final will be selected through the World Cup ranking list of the year specific to each category. The quotas by categories are as follows: 12 best RR Juveniles couples + 1 Wild Card 12 best RR Juniors couples + 1 Wild Card 20 best RR Main Class Contact Style couples + 1 Wild Card 20 best RR Main Class Free Style couples + 1 Wild Card 12 best BW Juniors couples + 1 Wild Card 20 best BW Seniors couples + 1 Wild Card 20 best BW Main Class couples + 1 Wild Card If the couples are not announced on the deadline or withdrawn before the event the remaining places will be open to other couples following their position on World Cup ranking. The organizing nation gets one wild card by category that it can only benefit participant from its own country who has a place in the World Cup ranking list of the year. V.1.2

5 SAP WC Final Next page Competition rules All categories (Rock n Roll and Boogie Woogie) will be carried out in Spider (battle) system after the first round. The first round is a ranking round. 9 Previous page SAP WC Final Competition rules There is no footwork round for RR Main Class Contact Style and Main Class Free Style even for the final round. There is no round with own music. The music is randomly chosen by the organizer. There is no slow round for BW Senior and BW Main Class even for the final round.

10 SAP WC Final Prize money Prize money (excl. tax) is only for Main Class categories.
