5 Tempered Glasses The glass used in padel courts construction must be a tempered glass, so its maintenance as such is not necessary, since the main characteristic of this material is the no variability of its properties over time. However:

7 Artificial turf is the element that suffers the most among all the elements of the court. That is way this element needs more care, both in quantity and frequency. Giving him a good maintenance, we lengthen his lifespan and avoid players injuries.

8 Artificial turf consists of three main parts: the backing, the fibre and and the stuffing. These parts should be protected as much as possible from the weather conditions and from other elements not related with sports. Each part presents different problems:

9 The Backing: The breaking of this part of the turf grass is mainly produced by excessive cuts, poorly executed joints, presence of plant elements (such as tree roots ) that rips him up, or the movements of expansion and contraction of the material in the joints. To avoid such failures, inspections must be done constantly in order to repair the defects as soon as possible.

10 -The fibre: In order that the fiber suffers the least damage possible, warnings over the type of footwear to be used for the padel practice should be placed at the entrances. In no case access will be permitted with aluminum cleats or sneakers.

11 The stuffing: During the padel game poor distribution of the filler can be caused, which can ultimately affect the development of the game itself. Furthermore it should be noted that defects in irrigation and drainage can lead to the deterioration of the turf grass.
