1 DUTCH OPEN MASTERS 2017 Masters Open Event Date tournament This event will be held from the 17th until the 19th of November The tournament will start on Friday at 12pm. 2 Transport Transport will be available for players arriving on Friday 17 November Transport between hotels & clubs will be arranged from Victoria (Venue) and the official hotel Novotel Brainpark Rotterdam. Eligibility This event is open to all players who are over 35 years of age on the first day of the event. As specified by the WSF and ESF, players must hold an active Squash Player Identification Number (SPIN) to compete in all ESF Registered events. Players without a SPIN can register through the WSF website or trough their national association. Seeding The seeding will be carried out by the Masters Sub-Committee Seeding Panel using the latest available results and ESF Masters Rankings valid at the closing deadline and in accordance with the ESF Masters Circuit Guidelines. Matches All matches played will consist of the best of five games, under the rules of the WSF. All players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches. The Tournament Organisers reserve the right to organize plate matches consisting of the best of three games. PAR 11 scoring (to 2 clear points) will be used. Rules The event complies with the ESF Master Circuit Guidelines; a copy of wich is available on the ESF website All participating MNA s should make sure that the relevant people (including coaches, managers and players) are aware of the guidelines and requirements. Draws Maximum draw size: 64 (3 day event). Refereeing All players will be expected to mark and referee matches. Ball DUNLOP PRO XX. Prizes There will be trophies and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group. Ceremony takes place at the latest at 15:00 on Sunday 19. Nov Insurance Players enter and play in the tournament at their own risk. Neither the organisers nor the ESF will accept responsibility for any claims including injury or accident. Suitable insurance must be organised by the player or the participating federation.

3 Entries All entries must be approved by a player s national association. Any entry not approved by the player s national association will not be accepted. All entries must fill in this entry form. When players are accepted they will appear on the official entry form or through Draws The seeding lists and time of the first matches will be published 7 days prior to the start date. Finalised draws for the event will only be posted at the venue and on the internet at the start of the event. Social Event On the Saturday of the event the organizers will organize a social event for all the players who wish to attend. The price and durance of this event will be confirmed later. Social Media Follow our facebook event Payment The entry/package fee, as detailed below, must be paid to the host by the 3th of November These fees include the ESF Ranking levy for each player. Please mark payments clearly Dutch Open Masters 2017 and name of player and package number. If the payment hasn t been transferred after the 6 th of November, then the organisation cannot guarantee any participation. If the player fails to find a sharing partner the organisation will find a sharing partner if available. If there are no other players available to share with then the player will get charged for the single room price. 6 tournament ESF regulations & penalties A late withdrawal is a withdrawal made 2 days or less before the start date of a Ranking penalties will be applied to the records of players who fail to turn up or who make a late withdrawal not supported by a medical certificate (see E4a, E4b and F2l). Following a withdrawal, fees should be reimbursed as follows: a) Withdrawal up to 14 days before the start date of a tournament: fees reimbursed in full (less bank charges) b) Withdrawal 3-14 days before the start date of a tournament: 50% of fees reimbursed (less bank charges) c) Withdrawal 2 days or less before the start date of a tournament: reimbursement at the discretion of the tournament organiser If a player: a) Has entered a tournament and fails to turn up, he/she will receive zero ranking points for the tournament b) Fails to play out all scheduled matches for any reason other than illness or injury, he/she will receive zero ranking points for the tournament c) Commits either of these offence for a second time within a 12 month period, he/she will be banned from the ESF Masters Circuit for a period of 12 months
