2 Golf Activity What about a great activity to liven up your meeting day at the Martin s Château du Lac? Come and hit the ball on our lawns facing the lake of Genval, wonderful scenery! For the occasion we install in our gardens around Martin s Château du Lac an amazing golf practice including : a putting green of 100 square meters a driving range up to 40 meters wide a floating golf green located 50 m from the lake edge skill golf game with different targets (optional) a short green of approach (optional). 3 Interactive Treasure Hunt «Just imagine! The lake side of Genval is turned into a wide playground where orientation and your artistic senses are honored.» The teams find their way with the GPS function of the touch pads. Challenges and puzzles are spread out throughout the game zone. Each team needs to solve a maximum of challenges and puzzles to collect a maximum of points, and get a chance to be the winning team of the day. At the end of the activity, the pictures and the videos taken by the teams will be displayed. The winning team will be identified according to the collected points and the quality of pictures and videos followed by a reward ceremony. 4 So Good Cooking «You don t like cooking, you will love it now!» «Put on your apron! You are cooking» During this culinary experience, our Chef will teach you thousand and one secrets for an original, social and delicious cuisine. Experience a unique and unusual culinary adventure. A great challenge for all beginner cooks. Your group will be split into different teams and you will become the stars of the kitchen. The workshop can cover different themes such as: Thai, Italian, Japanese and French cuisine. Prices: from 65,- to 85,- p.p. Prices include : Meal - lunch or dinner exclusive use and rental of the Villa du Lac for groups of maximum 40 participants. For larger groups: a room rental at the Château du Lac must be planed. 5 Cocktail on the Lake A well deserved break during your seminar or event at the Chateau du Lac, an original way to relax, have a cocktail or dinner on the lake. With our barges, each taking up to 15 people. You will discover the lake of Genval from the water. 6 Sailing Initiation By Martins Hotels Enjoy sailing in a charming and secure environment by boarding dinghies suitable for both beginners and initiates. You will be transferred from the Château du Lac to Genval Yacht Club with a raft in about ten minutes. After a short theoretical briefing you will board your boats, already rigged in order to maximize your sailing time. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery on the lake and its borders and will be free to navigate your sailing boat as you please. 7 The Conquest of Genval-les-Eaux & Genval Yacht Club Participants are immersed back a century, to represent different families forseeing big plans for Genval-les-Eaux. Real estate, tourism, industry, these families will have to acquire a maximum of land, hotels, attractions and facilities, gain notoriety, and become masters of Genval-les-Eaux. All of this in an exceptionnal environment! In the gardens of the Château du Lac as well as on the Lake itself. Various tests of interaction, reflection, agility or strength but also cooperation will be decisive to win the game (pedal boat challenges, kayaking, rowing boats, etc..). 10 CSI: Crime Scene Investigation «CSI is a fun and reflective team building activity» All those taking part gather at the Villa du Lac at Genval to solve a mystery! The participants are dealing with the death of Mr Lee, a famous Chinese billionaire who was visiting Genval to do the deal of the century with well, find out! This activity takes teams on a police investigation to the conquest of clues and information concealed by a "satanic" spirit in the cellars of the Villa du Lac. Armed with the plan of the cellars and a police case (UV lamps, codes to use,...), you enter the basement of the Villa du Lac through a long corridor in which there is a very special atmosphere... 18 Genval Waterworld Genval Waterworld transposes the wild adventures of the movie Waterworld on and around the Lake. When fuel became really scarce on the planet due to an atomic cataclysm, a group of scientists from the nearby Leuven University succeeded in creating a new form of fuel composed of Hydrogen and Deuterium. They called it HYDROGENAX The aim of this game is to find as much of this precious liquid as possible. 6 activities are programmed to fill a bottle of Hydrogenax: Kayaking, ATV, walking and construction of a raft are on the program to find the secret spots where the precious liquid is hidden.
