14 Establishment of a Cree Mining Investment Fund cmeb.org Eeyou Istchee has a great mineral potential, new discoveries are being made which will stimulate the activities of exploration companies in the territory Among the three resources (hydroelectricity, forestry and mining) the mining sector is one that offers the greatest employment opportunities for the Crees The return on investment for this type of fund could be very interesting if the fund is managed appropriately

The process will benefit all parties concerned and a mutual understanding lead to sustainable development.
