As of June 2018, there are over 3 billion fans worldwide, more than 300,000 football clubs (professional and amateur) and 240 million active players. The twenty most valuable soccer clubs are worth a total of US$33.8 billion (all $ hereafter represents US Dollars), and they earn $8.56 billion revenue a year (up 74% and 40% respectively since 2013). Superstars are highly sought after and paid extremely well. In 2017 Paris Saint-Germain paid $263 million to acquire Neymar Jr. (transfer fee). And, Lionel Messi alone earned $84 million on salary and bonus, excluding endorsements in Yet, as popular as soccer is, there is always a gap between the superstars and the fans. There is never really any direct interaction. And the popularity of the sports has created many behemoth organizations, which have strong centralized power to dictate how soccer is played, and who are likely to succeed in the sports. We, at Soccer Legends Limited, not only love and play soccer, we are also firm believers of blockchain technology and Smart Contracts. 9 Centralized Power Apart from being rich, the popularity of these clubs also make them powerful. Together with statutory governing bodies (FIFA, UEFA ), major sponsoring sports brands (NIKE, Adidas ) and broadcasting media (Sky Sports, Sport TV ) they control almost everything about soccer. Decision-making on important soccer matters is centralized in a small group of organizations and people. While this is not necessarily a bad thing (judging by the ever-growing popularity of the sport), soccer fans certainly want more say, participation and contribution in the sports they love. Superstar Players Yet in soccer, even the top clubs cannot rival the popularity of superstar players. They are highly sought after and paid extremely well. For example, Paris Saint-Germain paid a recordbreaking $263 million transfer fee in 2017 to acquire Neymar Jr. And in 2018, Lionel Messi earned $84 million, and Cristiano Ronaldo earned $61 million, on salary and bonus, excluding their numerous endorsement contracts. Even after retirement, many soccer superstars maintain their popularities, are being closely followed by tens of millions on social media and still command huge endorsement contracts. Youth Talents Aspiring to become the next superstar, every year there are a lot of passionate and talented young people joining soccer academies all over the world. But similar to other professional sports, soccer is extremely competitive and most of these youth talents (over 99%) will neither be signed by clubs nor have a soccer player career. Short Playing Career Even if they are signed by the clubs, on average a professional player s career length is only 8 years and the average retirement age is 35 (according to Professional Footballers Association). That means even a superstar will retire at a relatively young age in life and have to look for a second career, for financial or other purposes. Loyal Fans There are billions of soccer fans in the world. A large proportion of them are very loyal and passionate towards their national teams, favorite clubs or players. Yet, beside watching games and shouting cheers, there is not much else a fan can do. Some may place bets on games, some may play as manager or player in video games, and some may follow their favorite players on social media. For most soccer fans in the world, no matter how much they love the sport, there is no channel for their direct involvement or participation. 9

10 The How. How to improve Soccer? It will be done by Blockchain technology and Smart Contracts. Blockchain A blockchain is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography. By design, a blockchain is resistant to modification of the data. It is "an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way". It was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 to serve as the public transaction ledger of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. Since then, it has gradually gained popularity and inspired many innovations and applications. How Blockchain works? 10

11 Ethereum One of these innovations is Ethereum, a blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system featuring Smart Contract (scripting) functionality. Youth Talents are ideally picked from different soccer academies, aged 16 to 18. v. Each Principal can mentor, at any time, up to 5 Youth Talents. vi. Principal will offer 433 Token holders around the world the opportunity to sponsor his mentoring, for a certain amount of 433 tokens (via Smart Contract). For example, 500,000 tokens are required for Mr. Shevchenko to mentor Talent A. Once 500,000 tokens are sponsored, no more tokens will be accepted. And Mr. Shevchenko will have to start the mentorship in order to collect the tokens. vii. A Youth Talent will have to voluntarily accept the mentorship, and allow his sponsors to monitor his progress. Upon his success in professional soccer, he can show gratitude to his mentor and sponsors by sending them 433 tokens, as token of appreciation (no obligation, though). viii. A Principal will mentor a Youth Talent with all or part of the following: Meet him personally at least 4 times a year. Teach him technique, leadership, ethics and attitude. Sponsor him to get professional help in physical training, nutrition, sports science, etc. Monitor his progress and advise on his strengths and weaknesses. Warn him against malpractices and pitfalls faced by a professional soccer player. Introduce him to scouts, clubs, agents and endorsements. 12

14 Utility Two Bidding on auctions i. A Principal will be able to hold auction for Special Events ( Event ) with his personal participation and specific details. For examples: a dinner on 14th July 2019 at Maxim s Paris, a personal guided Giuseppe Meazza Stadium museum tour on 16th December 2019, or a Legend-vs-Fans penalty shootout at Old Trafford on 1st May ii. Each Event will be coined a unique Smart Contract token ( Event Token ) for auction by 433 tokens. iii. Highest bidder will receive the Event Token and enjoy the specified personal experience and interaction with the Principal. iv. Other bidders will get back their tokens and wait for another opportunity. v. Via Smart Contract, the Principal will automatically collect the 433 tokens once he fulfils his obligations on the Event. In any circumstances that the Principal cannot hold the Event as specified, the tokens will be returned to the bidder. vi. 23 433 Token Offering and Tokenomics Token Sale To raise enough funds for the project to work and to sustain, an Initial Offering of 433 Token is planned in 3rd Quarter million out of 1 billion total supply of 433 tokens will be offered, with an aim to raise US$27 million (Hard Cap).
