MROR UPERVO Each school should have an administrator or designee on site to supervise and assist with crowd control. Please enter the names of the supervisors on the tournament information pages located on the W website. he names of the supervisors will be placed on a pass list. Only those supervisors, whose names appear on the pass list, will be allowed free entry. Once on site, the head supervisor should check in with the tournament manager. COCEO he concession stands will be operated by the Puyallup chool istrict and are located behind the outh Grandstand EG W tournament regulations provide that a section of seating must be available for students who wish to stand for prolonged periods. (W tate ournament Packet.) Home school will sit in the E half of the outh grandstands (see page 6 of this packet). tudent seating will be in the section immediately E (and adjacent) to the center section of the outh grandstand. Benches are separated by 10 yards and off the turf. Fourth (4 th ) Registered occer Official is placed at a table between the benches to assist in ubstitution and Bench Control. Home team (bottom team on the bracket) will warm up on the East end of the field and occupy the E EM BECH. Rooter Buses will be parked FREE of charge in the Puyallup Fair Red Lot immediately adjacent to parks tadium on the south side of the facility. LOCKER ROOM HOME CHOOL will use the outh Grandstand locker room. VOR will use the orth Grandstand locker room. 2

3 GME JEREY HOME CHOOL will wear LGH COLORE JEREY VG CHOOL will wear RK COLORE JEREY MECL he tournament medical authority will be a Certified thletic rainer from pple P on duty for each game. f a team will have a team physician and/or athletic trainer in attendance, please complete the W form and present it to the tournament manager upon arrival at the site. he tournament medical authority will make the final determination regarding return to play. PRE-GME CHEULE Pre-game warm up will be a minimum of 15 minutes. f time allows, teams will be given up to 20 minutes of prematch warm up time. he following time schedule will be kept, using the stadium scoreboard clock: Five minutes remaining teams line up at their respective team benches Four minutes remaining EROL WLKOU to the far side hash marks (introduction of officials) hree minutes remaining eam introductions, as follows: + Visiting team reserves, starters, and coaches + Home team - reserves, starters, and coaches wo minutes remaining eams turn to face the merican flag on the West end of the field. he ational nthem will be sung or played before each match. One minute remaining teams face each other and advance to midfield to shake hands before returning to their bench ote: he stadium scoreboard clock will be set to allow for introductions prior to kick-off GME COMMEE he Games Committee will include the following: ournament Manager Rick Wells W Officials Liaison B W Representative (f Present) Field upervisor Joe Walling he Games Committee, composed of a least three of the individuals listed above, will hear and decide on any protest and/or appeal. WR cademic tate Champions he soccer team with the highest team grade point average in each W classification will be presented a plaque in recognition of academic achievement. f one of the teams in the tournament is a recipient, the presentation will take place prior to the aturday game during team introductions. f the recipient is not a tournament participant, the presentation will take place during half time of the championship match for their classification. Participation Certificates ll participants in the state tournament will receive participation certificates. hese certificates will be mailed to each schoolboy the W Office. ROPHE rophies will be awarded to all teams, 1st through 4th. he trophies will be presented at the conclusion of each match on aturday. W traveling trophy will also be presented to the championship team. BLL he ournament Manager will furnish the official tournament palding F 5000 soccer ball for warm-up and match play. BRCKE he soccer tournament brackets are available on the W website n up-dated bracket will be displayed on-site, and will be presented to the champion of each classification as part of the post-game awards ceremony. 3

4 CLOCK he official time will be kept on the field by the center official. he stadium clock is unofficial. OL HEM he ational nthem will be played prior to each game as part of the team introductions. CROW COROL ecurity and site supervisors will be provided. Crowd control is the responsibility of the participating school supervisors. t is important that building administrators provide game supervision in the stands by promoting a safe enjoyable event for everyone. Please remind students to wear shirts, to observe the stadium policy of no body or face paint, no masks, and to observe the W ournament policy. f an issue with one of your students arises we will ask you to address it. F UE PECOR he tournament manager will assign each participating school a rooting section. he supervision of this section will be the responsibility of the school. pectators are not allowed on the playing field at any time, and are required to stay behind the fenced areas at all times. BLL HOLER he site manager may provide ball holders behind each goal. lternate soccer balls will be placed at strategic locations on the sidelines. HLF ME ERMO he half time intermission shall be 10 minutes. LOGG listing of motels is available on request. MCH RULE FF RULE will be used in all tate playoff games with W published exceptions. he method of breaking ties will be as follows: wo (2) golden goal (5) minute overtimes. coin toss shall be held prior to the first overtime as per Law 8. t the end of the first overtime period, teams shall change ends. f still tied at the end of the second overtime, penalty kicks will decide the outcome. he head referee shall choose the goal at which all of the kicks from the penalty mark shall be taken. Each coach will select five (5) players, including the goalkeeper, only players who are on the field of play at the end of the match are eligible take the kicks. coin toss shall be held with the winning team having choice of kicking first or second. eams will alternate kickers. here is no follow up on the kick. he defending team may change goalkeepers with an eligible player prior to each penalty kick. Following the five (5) kicks, the team scoring on the greatest number of kicks shall be declared the winner. f the score remains tied, each coach shall select five (5) different players than the first five to take kicks until one team has scored a goal more than the other from the same number of kicks. OFFCL Four (4) WO certified soccer officials will be assigned to each match. Officials are selected by their association to work at this tournament and are assigned by the W. he officials will be head referee and two assistant referees along with a fourth official who acts as the timer and scorer. Official assessors may also be assigned. he assessor will provide the W with an independent evaluation of the tournament as a W event. PCURE he W has contracted orthwest ports Photography to be the official photographer for the state tournaments. photographer will take a team picture approximately one hour before your team s first match on Friday. One complimentary 8 x10 picture will be given to the school. Players will be able to order additional copies. PRE-MCH OFFCL' COCH MEEG he tournament manager will meet with the participating schools head coaches one hour before their school s designated first match on Friday. he agenda will include: introductions, medical aspects, warm up procedures, pre-match procedures (including introductions, starting time, tie-breaker procedures, review rule issues, instruction for sideline ball holders, games committee, sportsmanship, and other items of interest). o meeting will be held on the second day. 4

5 PRE-MCH UPERVO MEEG he event manager will review supervisor expectations and issue supervisory passes at a meeting with the schools head supervisors 30 minutes prior to the specified first match starting time for that team. radio will be checked out to the head supervisor of each team. he supervisory list is limited to four people. upervisors are required to sit in the student section representing their school and assume the responsibility of maintaining a sportsmanlike atmosphere. ll spectators must remain behind the fenced areas of the playing field. o spectators are allowed on the sidelines or playing field before or after the match. UE OF CHOOL UPERVOR Report to the tournament manager at least 45 minutes prior to their team s first match. Must wear supervisor identification so that it is visible and easily seen. it with your school s student body and fans while your team is competing. Be active and visible in the cheering section with your student body and fans during all contests in order to discourage problems Be willing to approach students and/or community representatives who display inappropriate behavior. otify tournament staff of potential problem individuals. Be of assistance as requested by facility security staff or tournament management staff. Be sure aisles and stairways are kept clear in the stands. Keep your students and fans from entering the playing surface. ssist in the orderly flow of traffic of fans entering and exiting the facility. t the conclusion of your game, assist your school s students and fans in leaving the bleachers. Foster the traits of good sportsmanship. OFFCL CORER he official scorer will verify each team s complete lineup, record all scores, record the number and reason for all players cautioned and disqualified, and will obtain the head referee s verification of a score. he fourth referee is the official scorer.
