Guests: Sounders Group Tickets - Frank from the Sounders Ticket sales explained the different options a club can participate in group ticket sales. He is willing to do the heavy lifting to make it a success for both the club and the Sounders. They require a 20% deposit. Ticket prices range from $19-$27 depending on the game and location of seats. Referee Development & Training - Dave Miller, PCSRA Referee Assignor, spoke regarding the referee shortfalls. He noted that Harbor is landlocked, many people do not want to come over the bridge. WASERC wants year olds to become certified, but he has seen that they will only referee 2-3 games, and then not continue. The amount of time it takes to get paid is the number one reason why someone does not come back, followed by sideline behavior. Clubs need to push PCSRA to bill twice a month. He said HSC needs to grow its referee pool from within, getting people who live in Gig Harbor to become certified. He also recommends having a parent be required to participate when a 12 or 13-year-old becomes certified. This will increase the likelihood of them participating. HSC could offer incentives such as two for one to get the parent and child certified. He also recommended all coaches and perhaps board members become certified. Training cannot begin until July 1, that is when new mandates are handed down. Discussion was held regarding liability of a volunteer referee versus a paid referee.certification costs $125; recertification, $50. 1

I asked ProTime for an updated statement from January 01, 2015 through current date (02/22/2016). The balance shows we owe almost $14,000. There are still many PMT OMG references and credit memos included in that total which technically brings outstanding invoices up to $30,000. I am still reconciling the statement though and have not researched all the invoices yet. Dani will provide her Member Accounts report separately. March Tasks: (no change from February) Talk with PDC Terry Cronk about the process of switching to the accrual accounting method from the cash basis. 26 Premier Program Report March 1, 2016 General; I m not able to make it tonight as my G99 team has a game at Starfire at 7pm. I ve put together a small Q and A below but Jason will be their tonight to answer any other questions you might have. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other concerns with budget or have other questions in regards to next years plans. Q-Is uniforms included in registration fee? A-No, we are on our second year and also we only offered it last year because of the whole STANNO mess. Uniform kits will be separate from registration fee moving forward as it should be so parent/vendor have the relationship and not involve 3 parties. Q-Are the registration fees the same as last year? A-The fees have gone up anywhere from $ except for Jr. Academy which stayed the same. Q-Why did they go up and no uniform kit? A-We have included 2 tournaments, Tyee Cup and State Cup so not to burden Managers to be collectors. Q-What about travel fees for Coaches? A-Travel expenses for Coaching staff will be covered by Program not individual teams for all League, State Cup games and the 2 approved Tournaments which will be known by tryouts. Q-I ve heard there might be College Showcase teams. A-In efforts to provide our players that are dedicated in making a spot at a college we will look at having 2 travelling showcase teams at each gender ages which will be 3 tournaments/id camps. There will be a very small fee for these players in addition to their regular team registration fee. Q-Will they still be allowed to train with their team and do tournaments with them? A-This Showcase team is completely separate from there league team. This will have very strict requirements to be on this team which will be done by application/tryout. They will train once a week on top of their regular teams training. All tournaments will be required to attend as a team with chapreones. In the coming weeks they ll be more details about this. Q-If our team decides to do more tournaments and they require travel is Coaches fees covered? A-No, if the teams decide to do more tournaments outside of what the club/program offers than this becomes a team expense and will follow other guidelines within travel policy.
