The Pitch has performed very well since the reconstruction and has been continually scored highly by SPL match assessors.

The turf was located and approved in Germany and the works were carried out to remove the existing surface and mitigate the issues with Black Layer before re-turfing. The Pitch was out of use for less than 2 weeks..

() Celtic FC - Lennoxtown Training Ground Celtic Football Club Form of Contract The Miller Partnership 3 No Phases ( 7m, 400k and 450k Feb 2008 Oct 2012 Arcadis Arcadis Malcolm Construction and Souter Sports Limited Provision of new Professional Football Club Training Academy The first Phase as part of the Design Team for the initial design and construction of the Centre which included 1 No Full FIFA 2* 3G Artificial Grass Pitch, I No Indoor FIFA 2* 3G Artificial Grass Pitch and 1 No Full Rootzone Construction Pitch with under Pitch Heating and 3 No Topsoil Amended full size pitches. The second Phase allowed the construction of one further full size Full Rootzone Pitch. The third Phase completed this year was the full re-construction of one amended topsoil pitch to a Full Rootzone Construction and the partial reconstruction of 2 No amended topsoil pitches and a Goal Keeper Training Area.
