SOGARD UPDATE: LHP Alex Sogard, who was hit in the left elbow by a line drive off the bat of Beau Taylor in the 9th last night, is listed as day-to-day. Corpus Christi has won 6 of the last 8 games and Sogard and the rest of the bullpen deserves the bulk of the credit. HERAS ACTIVE: Houston s newly-acquired Mexican League outfielder, Leo Heras, went 1-for-4 with a double and a walk in his debut as an Astros farmhand last night.
