For hours not worked there is a $20 fee per hour. Please see the Volunteer Form for more information. Registrations accepted after March 15, 2018 will have a $25.00 late fee. We cannot guarantee a spot on a team for your child after the Little League draft has taken place. A message to Parents and Needed Signature I/We do hereby waive, release, indemnify and agree to hold harmless local Little League, Little League Inc., the organizers, sponsors, supervisors, participants and persons, my/our son/daughter to and from activities, for any claims out of injury to my son/daughter, except to the extent and in the amount covered by accident or liability insurance. I further agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the League. I understand and agree that the City of Waupun is not liable or responsible for injuries sustained by participants taking part in Little League activities. 2 Waupun Little League Definitions Goal - To create age appropriate development of baseball skills, that will successfully transition ball players through each league at the appropriate time. 1. Tee-ball - For Players ages 4-6. This league is our introduction to baseball. We use a soft baseball, with 8-10 players per team. All hitting in this league is done off of a tee. Tee work is important for all baseball players, and this offers an opportunity for games to move along and for fielding to take place. Outs and a score will not be recorded. Most of all this league is geared towards fundamentals and having fun. Players will play one game per week. 2. Rookies (Coach Pitch) - For players ages 6-8. This league uses a softer core baseball, and teams consist of between 8-10 players per team. This league will keep track of outs and runs, but season standings will not be recorded. Six year olds should only move into the league if they have the ability to consistently hit off a coach pitching before joining this league. Teams will play one game per week. 3. New to Minors (Kid Pitch with coach pitch in the event of a walk) - For Players ages 7-9. This league was created to help introduce players to pitching, and hitting off live pitching. A coach will come in to pitch if a player reaches 4 balls. This allows for the development of young pitchers and hitters by eliminating walks. Seven year olds should stay in Rookies unless they are advanced in skill. Nine year olds may not pitch in New to Minors. Teams will play one or two games per week, and standings will be kept. 4. Minors - For players ages This league is for players ready for kid pitch baseball. All baseball rules are followed. Eleven year olds may not pitch in the Minors. 5. Majors - For players This league is the last step in baseball before moving up to full size fields. Players age 13 may not pitch in this league.

The remaining 4 hours can be volunteered in the concession stand, base umpiring during league games in the Minors and Majors Division, tournaments and any District tournaments Waupun may host.
