1 CHELMSFORD CITY LOCAL HIHWAY PANEL Approved Works Programme /18 At the September 2017 meeting of the Chelmsford City Local Highways Panel (LHP) the Panel decided to from a Sub-roup to consider scheme prioritisation for 2018/19. The Sub-roup met on 17 th October 2017 and they made some scheme prioritisation suggestions from both Approved Works Programme Rolling Programme and the Potential List. It is envisaged that the 2018/19 Capital Budget for the Chelmsford City LHP will be the same as that in 2017/18, though this will be finalised by ECC at their full meeting in February The Panel are now asked to finalise their scheme funding recommendations for the schemes they wish to see delivered in 2018/19 from the Sub-roup Prioritisations and the additional schemes on the Potential s List. Members are reminded that the costs supplied are estimates only and there is the possibility that a final scheme cost could change significantly dependant on issues which may arise especially during detailed design and construction. The estimated scheme costs on the Rolling Programme/Potential List have been reviewed and adjusted as necessary to reflect this. At this stage we have not been notified of the Safer Roads schemes that will need to be progressed within the District in 2018/19. Our Safer Roads team are currently preparing their 2018/19 programme with a view to finalising it by the end of January The 2018/19 Chelmsford City LHP Capital Budget Summary is as follows Budget Summary 2018/19 Ref.
