3 Store Exterior & Location The store exterior is painted the Boxer signature red, with the Boxer logo clearly visible from all sides and from long distances. The store is approximately 1,750m², with 1,250m² trading floor, carrying approximately 2,100 sku s.

5 Fresh I Store Entry The fruit and vegetable department is located at the front of the store, welcoming shoppers with clear, vibrant signage. Fruit and vegetables are sourced locally from farmers and suppliers in the area, with ranging relevant to local shopper tastes

6 Dry Goods / Grocery The layout of the store is designed to make it easier for customers to stock up on fresh meat, produce and household essentials. Low shelving and clear aisle signage is designed for easy store navigation. The store features 14 gondola ends for promotional lines, as well as a money kiosk located behind the 19 tillpoints.

7 Butchery I Meat Destination Fresh and service departments are located near the store entrance, and feature a butchery, bakery and hot food departments. The store positions itself as offering the cheapest prices on processed meat in Khayelitsha.

8 Dry Goods Personal Care Wide aisles and clear departmental signage with simple, easy to read shelf dividers, communicating the Boxer discount price message, are featured throughout the store.

13 New Store Opening Formalities The store was opened by the Ackermanns in November 2015, the first Boxer store in the Western Cape. Prominent community leaders attended the opening, and Boxer took the opportunity to show its support for local organisations such as the Senior Citizens Club, Educare centres and Children and Youth organisations.
