Our Mindsets Approach

Why do we do the things we do? What is it that drives our behaviours?

How do you feel at this moment about the years challenges ahead? What did you learn from your last project about working with a family member and how are you going to build on this? It is important to plan. What plans and goals are you going to put in place to start your climb. Can you display these at home so that it reminds you to practice and keeps you motivated? How are you going to document your journey and share your success? What are you short term, mid term and long term goals? How will you ensure that this time will be more successful than the last?

Arrange to meet once a half term at lunch to share what you have learnt, and help each other. Can be set up through What s App Involve your family Teach them, let them give you advice and critique, get expert info if they know how, present your ideas to them, set up a home rewards system maybe you both get cake if you get to a goal. Present your progress in tutor time. Practice regularly, and keep a journal of this so you can see how far you have come. Take goals seriously, don t keep moving them backwards.
