Class sizes are limited. 9:30 11:30 am Pre-Premier (Beginner to Intermediate) Dancers should have knowledge of Fling, Sword, Lilt, Seann Triubhas 12:00 2:30 pm Intermediate & Premier 2006 Championship Steps ****************************************************************************************************************************** CHAMPIONSHIP RULES & REGULATIONS Atlantic Canada Open Championships are sanctioned by the SOBHD and conducted under the rules and regulations of the SOBHD and SDC. First to enter, last to dance in all events. Age as of May 20, Dancers must perform 2006 Championship steps. Insufficient entries in a stated age group prior to or on the day, MAY result in amalgamation of some groups to maintain championship status. In the event the 7-9 years group is combined with the 10 years to Under 12 Years, all dancers must perform full steps. Money prizes awarded to the oldest age group $50 $40 $30 $20 $15 $10 Entries must be postmarked by May 5, Late entries accepted with $10 late fee. Late entries must be received by May 15, COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS Competition will be governed by the rules and regulations of the SOBHD and SDC. Age as of May 20, Other than those specified on the entry form, age groups will be determined based on entries received. First to enter, last to dance in all events. High Aggregate awards will be presented in all ages groups with the exception of the Primary classifications. Money prizes awarded to the oldest age group $30 $25 $20 $15 $10 $5 Judge s decision is final. Any protest must be lodged according to the SOBHD rules. Must be Highland or national in appearance and theme. Average age of group determines age category. Time limit: 4 minutes Current SOBHD registration card required for all dancers. Dancers must register in Open Highland/National competition in order to compete in Choreography Challenge.
