1 Presents SENIOR FINAL CUT 2018 We are so excited to have you with us this summer for Final Cut! You can look forward to long days, hard work, and lots of laughter! We have attached important information. Please read ALL information carefully. Forms to be signed and returned to our office NO LATER THAN June 29, Medical Release & Consent to Participate 2. Copy of Scholarship (if applicable) Host Hotel: Hilton Glendale 100 West Glenoaks Blvd Glendale CA *All classes & rehearsals will take place at our host hotel June 15-19, 2018 Performance Venue: Hyatt Regency Orange County Harbor Blvd. Garden Grove, CA Phone: (714) *July 20, 2018 SCHEDULE 7/15/18: Your first morning will begin at 7:00 am with registration and a meeting. We recommend that any parents and/or teachers accompanying with their dancers attend this meeting as well. Following the meeting and a warm-up, you will learn and demonstrate several different styles of dancing i.e. jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop. Our choreographers will then cast the dancers in their respective pieces for their concert performance. The remainder of the day will be devoted to rehearsal and classes. 7/16/18-7/18/18: Dancers should plan on rehearsals and classes daily from 8:00am-10:00pm at our rehearsal hotel. Lunch & dinner breaks will be designated daily. Schedules are released the day prior for the following day. 7/19/18: This morning is dedicated to final rehearsals followed by a dress rehearsal at our rehearsal hotel. The National Finals bus will depart on this day for any dancers who bought National Finals bus tickets. Please see below for more information regarding bus travel, and for any dancers participating in our National Finals event. 7/20/18: Final Cut tech rehearsal will immediately follow our National Finals competition at the Final Cut performance hotel, time is TBA. Dancers should plan on going straight from tech rehearsal to their show. Show time is TBA but typically falls between 7-8:00pm. There will be a roundtrip bus available on this day for dancers not participating in National Finals & staying at the Glendale Hilton, please see below for more bus information.

2 DANCERS PARTICIPATING IN NATIONAL FINALS: Final Cut participants are able to participate in National Finals (this includes Magic Performers, LA Dance Magic Company, and any other National Final participants). Dancers are able to purchase a bus ticket to the Hyatt Regency Orange County on July 19th in order to prepare for the first day of National Finals. Magic Performers & LADM Company members are required to check in at the Hyatt Regency Orange County on July 19th. Dancers who have purchased a National Finals bus ticket will arrive in plenty of time for their required check in times. We recommend any dancers competing at National Finals arrive at the Hyatt Regency Orange County on July 19th to prepare for National Finals, competition will start July 20th. Final Cut participants not participating in National Finals can either travel to the Hyatt Regency Orange County on July 19th or July 20th. Following the July19th dress rehearsal, that takes place at our rehearsal hotel, dancers will not be needed until our July 20th tech rehearsal at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. Rehearsal Locations All rehearsals & classes will take place at our host hotel, the Hilton Glendale. Lunch & Dinner Times for lunch and dinner breaks will vary. The Hilton Glendale will provide a daily lunch & dinner menu for dancers, for purchase. This will have a variety of options for dancers to choose from. Outside food will not be allowed in the lobby or rehearsal areas. Dance Pieces Dancers will be placed in a minimum of two pieces in the show. They will rehearse in their designated pieces all week. Classes In addition to rehearsals during the week of Final Cut dancers will also have classes to attend. Costumes Dancers provide their own costumes. Closer to the start date of Final Cut, LADM will release a list of costumes from choreographers. Please bring what you have. All dancers should plan on being in the opening & closing numbers. Our advice is bring what you have. Once you are placed in a number you will then know what your costume needs. There are plenty of shopping options very close to the hotel. In the past dancers have also borrowed from each other. LADM Company Dancers auditioning for the LADM Company will be provided with a wristband to wear for the entire week. You will find a SAMPLE Company Contract among the other forms you download. This is a SAMPLE form only for you to review. Actual contracts will be sent out with acceptance letters following Final Cut, in August. If you wish to audition for Company please be sure to add this audition fee during checkout through our online registration system.

3 Final Cut Bus Tickets & Transportation Final Cut participants will require transportation from our rehearsal hotel to our performance hotel during the week of Final Cut. They can either purchase a bus ticket through LA DanceMagic or provide their own transportation. Bus tickets can be purchased during online registration and are non-refundable, tickets are not included with your dancers registration fee. It is highly recommended that you purchase tickets during your online registration. Bus tickets may be available for purchase at Final Cut but will be subject to selling out. Additional tickets are available for anyone traveling with participants and requiring transportation. These tickets must be purchased along with your registered dancers during online registration. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred through LA DanceMagic. AVAILBLE BUS TICKETS National Finals Bus (7/19/18): This bus will depart the Hilton Glendale on July 19th and travel to the Hyatt Regency Orange County. This is a one way bus and will not return to the Hilton Glendale. The time for this bus is TBA but will be immediately following the completion of your daily rehearsals at the Hilton Glendale. This bus will arrive at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in time for any dancers participating in National Finals Magic Performer Program or Company Members to check in. Performance Day Bus (7/20/18): This bus will depart the Hilton Glendale on July 20th and travel to the Hyatt Regency Orange County. Immediately following the Final Cut performance this bus will then depart the Hyatt Regency Orange County and travel to the Hilton Glendale. This is a round trip bus. Times are TBA, but will arrive with plenty of time for dancers to prepare for their tech rehearsal. ADDITIONAL BUS TICKETS: Family/friends traveling with a Final Cut dancer will be able to purchase an additional bus ticket ($25.00) and take the bus with their dancers. Tickets can be purchased during checkout through our online registration system. Additional ticket purchasers will check in for the bus with their dancer. Final Cut Tickets Tickets will be for sale and available for purchase through Final Cut participants do not need a ticket. Final Cut Merchandise Prior to the event registered dancers will receive an to pre-order and purchase Final Cut merchandise. It is intended that the authorization relieve the physician, dentist, person rendering such care at the hospital or institution in which such care is given, from any liability resulting from the failure of me/us, the parent or guardian of the above-named minor, from signing a consent or authorization to render such care. It is the intent that LADM shall act in my/our stead in making such decisions. I/We have put the important medical facts, if any, on this form. The medical facts are intended to help the doctor in deciding what treatment is to be given, but are in no way intended to restrict the giving of authorization or consent by LADM.
