2 TUITIONANDRECITALFEE FullMaytuition,backtuition,latefees,andrecitalfeesareduebyMay1,2016.Thereisafivedaygrace period.dancersthatdonothavealltuitionandfeespaidbythedateoftherecitalwillnotbepermittedto participateintherecital.ifyouareunsureifyouraccountispaidinfull,pleasecontactthefestivaldance office. COSTUMES RecitalcostumesareprovidedforyourchildfromtheFestivalDancecostumecloset.Theywillbefitduring regularclasstime.costumesforallclasseswillbeatthehartungtheatreandreadyforyourchildatrehearsal. Afterrehearsal,all#dancers#mustreturntheircostume(s)totheirinstructor.Allcostumesmustremainatthe theatrebetweentherehearsalsandperformances. Dancersarerequiredtoprovidetheirowntightsandshoes,asindicatedbytheFestivalDanceAcademyDress Code,andyourinstructorwilltellyouwhatcoloroftightstowearwithyourcostume.Olderstudentsmay wanttowear(and%some%specific%costumes%may%require)%a nudie camisolestyleleotardforhygieneprotection. FestivalDancedoesnotsupply nudies. DRESSREHEARSAL Attendance at dress rehearsals is mandatory. OnTstage dress rehearsals for each class are scheduled for Saturday,May14th.TheseareheldattheUniversityofIdahoHartungTheatre(directions%enclosed).%%Dancers shouldenterthroughthebackentranceofthetheatre(located%at%the%loading%dock%on%the%south%side%of%the%building) andgoimmediatelytothebackstagearealocatedstraightthroughthesceneshop(signs%will%be%posted). PleasenotethatMay14thisgraduationfortheUniversityofIdahoandparkingwillbedifficult.Dancersmust attendandbeontimetotheirrehearsal,pleaseallowextratimetofindparking.ifyouhaveaconflict duetograduation,contactabbyimmediately. Students are to be in costume and ready to go on stage 15 minutes prior to their scheduled ontstage rehearsaltime.werealizethismakesitaprettyearlymorningforsomeofyou,butitisnecessarysothatall studentshavetheopportunitytorehearsetheirdancesonstage.advanceddancersshouldarriveearlierto provideadequatewarmwuptime. StudentsinBallet5,IntermediateBallet,AdvancedBallet,Sparklers,andAdvancedJazz/HipHopshouldarrive with their hair and makewup done for rehearsal, the same as for the performances that evening (makeup% guidelines%are%enclosed).ifyoudancerisinmorethanonepiece,havehaircompletedforthefirstpiecetheyare rehearsing,whichisnotedontheschedule. Familymembersmaywatch,videotape,andphotographthedressrehearsal,butpleaserefrainfromgoingto the backstage and greenroom areas, unless you are dropping off or picking up your child. This area is designatedfordancers,festivaldancefacultyandstaff,anddesignated backstagevolunteers. Theseareas are simply too small to reasonably accommodate others. Only females are allowed inside of the dressing rooms/green room instructors and backstage volunteers will supervise and help your children get into costumes. Usingamakeupsponge,applyanevencoatoffoundationtotheentireface,includingunder thechin,ontotheneck,aroundtheearsanduptothehairline.blendcarefullytoensurean evenapplication.setthefoundationwithasmallamountofpowder. Step2.Blushaddscoloraswellasdefinitiontotheface.Chooseapinkblushcolorsimilarto thenaturalcolorofthecheeks (the% color% should% not% be% too% bright% or% too% dull).smileandapply blushtotheapplesofthecheeks,sweepingupandouttowardthehairline. Step3.Applywhiteeyeshadowjustundertheeyebrow.Applyeyeshadowovertheentire eyelid.pickdarkbrownorgrey/charcoalcolorthatwillmakeyoureyesstandoutonstage,as stage lights tend to make the eyes appear smaller. To line the lower lid, start at the outercorneroftheeyeanddrawathinlineunderthelowerlashes.linershouldstartwhere thelashesbeginandstopwheretheyendonbotheyelids.donotdo fishwlike eyeliner. Step 5. Using black mascara, gently sweep two coats on upper and lower lashes. Older dancerssometimeschoosetowearfalseeyelashes.youngdancersmayachievesimilarresults byapplyingseveralcoatsofmascaraaftercurlingthelasheswithaneyelashcurler. Step 6. Carefully apply a bright (but% tasteful)% shade of pink or red lipstick to the upper and lowerlips.blotsoftlywithatissue. Every effort was made to create a rehearsal schedule that would accommodate students who are in multiple classes, accountingforthetimeneededforstudentstochangetheircostumesandshoes.pleasemakesureyourchildstayson task in getting changed and prepared if they are in more than one class.
