We know she is dancing in Heaven free of pain. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Her obituary is below. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her husband Jack and family. Cards may be sent to: 2104 Botts Drive, Arlington, Texas The Funeral Home online guest book may be signed at: In Memory of Ann M von der Heide May 2, August 1, 2017 Obituary Ann von der Heide, 79, passed away peacefully August 1st, 2017, at the Community Hospice in Arlington, having lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. Celebration of life 11:00 am Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home. Reception to follow at the Rolling Hills Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation in her memory to The Humane Society of North Texas, or the Community Hospice of Texas. Ann was born on May 2nd, 1938 in Derby, CT, to Jennie Casso and Nicholas Vicidomino. A resident of Arlington since 1972, Ann was a secretary in the I.E. dept. of UTA for 22 years. She married Jack von der Heide on May 26th, 1962 and together they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary and 50 years of square dancing in May Together, they were Round Dance instructors for 35 years, lifetime members of the North Texas Callers Association, received the dancer association's Special President's Award in 2001 and the Lifetime Achievement Award in Survivors: Husband, Jack; children, Jo Ann Bergstrand (husband Kim) and Jack K. von der Heide (wife Linda); grandchildren, Brock and Jaclyn; sister, Cornelia Mas (husband Edward); aunts, Catherine Esposito and Irene Casso; many nieces and nephews.

We especially appreciated the help that you all provided, from Christine, Jack and Barb cuing, to others helping in the kitchen, picking up decorations, sweeping floors, dumping trash, and vacuuming.
