May God bless you richly as you begin this new chapter of your life! Don t forget to request a final transcript if you haven t done so. Meet Your Teacher Nights We will have two nights for this event. One for the elementary grades and one for our secondary students: "Elementary Grades (K-6 th ) Tuesday, August 8 th from 6-7:00 p.m. "Secondary Grades (7 th 12 th ) Monday, August 7 th from 6 7:00 p.m. Come meet our teachers, purchase a lunch card, receive your locker, purchase a P.E. T-shirt or school jacket, pick up your schedule, and meet your PTF officers and our cheerleaders Summer Reading Don t forget your Summer Reading. Approved lists are on our website or copies are available in the school office. Elementary students who turn in their book report on the first day of school will receive a gift for participating. Secondary students must turn in their report on the first day of school the book report counts as a test grade. Lion Success Winner for May Congratulations to Garrett Lincecum and Mrs. Karen you are the Lion Success winners for the month of May! Recycle your Uniform - Bring the uniforms you ve outgrown to donate to our resale supplies. This program is a huge help to other students. School Begins on Thursday, August 10 th! Have a Great Summer! Report Cards & SAT Scores Reminder that Report Cards and SAT Scores will not be sent until all monetary obligations have been met. Report cards were mailed June 8 th. If you have not received your child s please contact the finance office at extension 103. 2 Business Office News Office will be open this summer Monday thru Thursday from 9:00am -2:00pm. If you are enrolled for next year and have not paid your book and testing fees they are due on June 1st. Fees not paid by June 15th will be charged a late fee of $25.00 per month. All book and testing fees need to be paid before the first day of school. We accept cash, checks and debit/credit cards. If paying with credit/debit cards there is a 3% usage fee. Please do not combine payments, i.e. tuition and lunches or other fees. These need to be in separate checks. You may drop checks in the tuition box located on the Business Office Door. If you do online banking you can set us up as a payee to send payments to us for tuition, lunches, fees etc Please just add the students name/what you are paying in the memo/account #. When setting up bill pay please send all payments to: Nazarene Christian Academy 2001 East Main Street Crowley, Texas Monthly Tuition starts August 1, 2017 for the 2017/2018 school year. We have an awesome Kindergarten program at NCA. Spread the Word send your Friends to NCA! Boys Summer Workouts Open to All 6 th grade boys and up. Free to all interested. Begins on June 12 th and ends on Thursday, July 20 th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday thru Thursday (except the week of July 3-7 th ) Athletic Forms Needed for Participation in Athletics All students who will be participating in athletics MUST have the following forms turned into the office by August 1 in order to participate. Athletic Form Medical History Form UIL Form You may contact the school office to get these forms or go to our website at under athletics. Update Your Immunizations This Summer! If your student is entering kindergarten or 7 th grade there are required immunizations due before school begins on August 10 th. Please provide the school office with the updated immunization record before August 10 th or your student will not be able to begin school. Please feel free to call the school office with questions x 104 Calling all Girls 6 th Grade and Up Interested in Cheerleading at NCA! The new Volunteer Cheer Coaches at NCA - Mrs. Gortney and Mrs. Davis - need to know who is interested in Cheerleading! At NCA we have a Jr. High Squad and a High School Squad. Please contact the school office if you are interested in being a Cheerleader this next school year. The office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily (except Friday) during the summer. Our number is x 104.
