Wiltshire Cricket Match Sponsorship Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you on behalf of Wiltshire Cricket and to ask for your help.

Whilst we receive some financial support from ECB towards providing these fixtures, this only covers a small proportion of the total costs that are associated with providing representative Cricket.

Coach Fees - 35 The sum of the costs above is 260. Match fees collected on the day reduce this to a net cost of 200.

1 Wiltshire Cricket Match Sponsorship Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you on behalf of Wiltshire Cricket and to ask for your help. Wiltshire Cricket Limited currently provides an extensive programme of county age group fixtures for boys and girls between the ages of under 10 and under 17. Whilst we receive some financial support from ECB towards providing these fixtures, this only covers a small proportion of the total costs that are associated with providing representative Cricket. For example, a home fixture for a county age group team currently costs the following: Ground Hire - 30 Teas x Match Balls x Umpires x Scorer - 30 Team Manager Fees - 35 Team Coach Fees - 35 The sum of the costs above is 260. Match fees collected on the day reduce this to a net cost of 200. Wiltshire Cricket is very proud to be able to offer age group Cricket to the extent that it currently does and recognises that this is an essential aspect of a Cricket Board s work. We also realise that providing a full and competitive fixture programme is a key component of individual player development. For these reasons we are fully committed to continuing to deliver the match play programme as it currently is, however in the current financial climate and with strong indications that central funding will be reduced, we need to start identifying partners, sponsors and alternative sources of funding to help secure the future. With the above in mind, the purpose of this letter is to ask for your help in either sponsoring an element of Wiltshire age group Cricket or in identifying companies or organisations that may be interested in supporting Wiltshire Cricket.

2 We appreciate that individuals and/or companies will be able to commit to different levels of sponsorship and for this reason we have produced a number of different sponsorship packages, detailed below. MATCH BALL SPONSORSHIP Package Benefits to Sponsor Cost Sponsor the balls for a County Age Group fixture -Entry in to Wiltshire Cricket raffle (details below). 20 OVERALL MATCH SPONSOR Package Benefits to Sponsor Cost Sponsor all aspects of a County Age Group fixture -Entry in to Wiltshire Cricket raffle (details below). -Mention in all match reports/press releases for match (newspapers, handbook, website). -Logo on website (average hits 1500 per month) -Banner/advertising displayed at ground on match day (at sponsor s expense). -Free Cricket tea at the match. 100 If you would like to sponsor all the matches for a particular age group we will reduce the cost per match by 25% and you will receive an entry in to the raffle for every match sponsored. YOUTH CRICKET SHIRT SPONSOR Package Benefits to Sponsor Cost Associate Shirt Sponsor -Company Logo on the sleeve of playing shirts and jumpers for all county and district boys and girls playing shirts + all benefits listed for overall match 2000 Headline Shirt Sponsor sponsor -Company Logo on the chest of playing shirts and jumpers for all county and district boys and girls playing shirts + all benefits listed for overall match sponsor 5000 Wiltshire Cricket runs 7 boys and 4 girls county age groups + 20 district age groups. Therefore, 31 age groups with an average of 14 players per squad. In total, in 2012, Wiltshire County/District Boys and Girls will play 134 matches. CRICKET AWARDS EVENING Package Benefits to Sponsor Cost

3 Be a headline sponsor for the annual Wiltshire Cricket Awards evening Sponsor an individual age group player of the year award -Company Logo displayed on all promotional material related to Awards evening. -Banners and advertising displayed at the Awards evening itself. -Company name displayed on every trophy awarded at the ceremony. -Opportunity for sponsor to present trophies at Awards evening. -Mention in all press releases/reports related to Awards evening -Photograph coverage with all press releases following the evening. -Company Logo displayed on all promotional material related to Awards evening. -Company name displayed on the trophy that has been sponsored. -Mention in all press releases/reports related to 750 Awards evening The average attendance at the Awards evening is 300 but the evening is promoted to 95 affiliated clubs and to over 400 players that are involved within representative Cricket st Prize 2 nd Prize 3 rd Prize CRICKET RAFFLE 2 x free tickets to day of a Test Match of sponsor s choice 2 x free tickets to Pro 40 or Twenty20 fixture of sponsor s choice (there will be 3 2 nd prizes) 25 gift voucher to be spent on Cricket equipment/memorabilia Interested in supporting Wiltshire Cricket? Also, included with this letter is a spreadsheet containing the Wiltshire representative fixtures for 2012 so that you can see the games for which we are looking for support with.

4 On the following page there is an opportunity for you to complete a reply slip, indicating what you would like to sponsor. However, we fully appreciate that you may like to think about this and discuss further with a member of the Wiltshire Cricket team.
