1 WOW the season is over already. Seems like we were just starting last week. I would like to personally thank everyone in the division for a GREAT season. With special shout outs going to the board members and everyone who took time to send in write ups and actually be involved. I hope that everyone enjoyed the season and we look forward to making it bigger and better the next time around. So take time to gear up and get ready for the next season because it will start before you even know it. For you die hard kickballers, don't forget about the winter division. Also if anyone is interested in being the GMOT in the spring, please send me an . - Cary Upcoming Events 2009 Founders Cup (Nationals, Baby!) Columbus Day Weekend 2009 in Las Vegas Division Tournament Winners and Runners-Up, along with the Regular Season Winners will be qualified to go. South Florida Open Tournament When: Saturday, January 17, 2009 (Martin Luther King Holiday weekend) Where: Mills Pond Park in Ft. Lauderdale, FL Cost: Registration is $500/team $100 deposit due by November 10, 2008 Find out more information on Kickball365.com Open tournament means everybody is welcome, even non-registered players, and unofficial teams Notes from a Team Mom Thanks to everybody that sent their well wishes, prayers, and uplifting thoughts over the last week. It meant a lot to me and to my family. Give a thought to playing in the winter. Registration for VA Recess division opens November 27 th (Thanksgiving Day)! No playing in snow, we promise. Find out more about VA Recess Division. Winter too soon or too cold for you? Then we'll see you in the spring! Spring registration for VA Shore division will begin in February. Be there when all your favorite Thursday night antics resume! Also in the spring there will be a new Tuesday night division: VA Admiral. This is your chance to help mold a whole new division and steer the way it grows. Ask Regional Rep Kelly, Head Ref Jaried or Knowitall April for more information. It s been one heck of a season. It was pretty clear from the first week that anything could happen on any given week. Thank you to everybody that participated and made this yet another great season. I look forward to seeing most of you again in the spring, if not in the winter. Remember, every season we need new board members, and even if you re not officially on the board you are always invited to the board meetings. It's easily identifiable - official NFL football with a bunch of scratches/nicks in it, like some animal from Blue Balls tried to eat it. If you picked it up, please pass it back. Thanks.
