Melony needs to order: Hat Pins x st 5 th Place Ribbons D Aboy Awards 12 year olds (Get voting out) Potluck: T-Ball - Dessert Rookies - Dessert Minors - Side Dish Major 60 Main Dish Major 70 Side Dish League will provide drinks, Paper goods. (Melissa Rattray will buy those). Kelso gym is reserved for this events. There will be game play on May 20 th. Field Maintenance - Matt Christie Matt spread some barkdust today. We will stop leaving the side gate open because people are driving back there. Jason Silvis - Sponsor Coordinator Les Schwab (Clay) is interested in sponsoring the snack shack. Hopefully we can get him committed. Concessions Coordinator Melissa Rattray Has made $2,400 in 3 days. The Shed needs air ventilation. Still having trouble getting volunteers. Mike, Melissa and Nam will put their heads together to find a solution to this. We need to get a refrigerator in the shed to put the candy in. Matt will make sure the electrical is finished so we can move the refrigerator in there. We have not heard any complaints. Melissa will explore volunteer needs at the high school. Apparel Coordinator Jenell Jansen Not here. Team Mom Coordinator Nam Lucas We have deposited 14 teams pepperoni sticks. She has more in her bag, but hasn t taken it to the bank yet. Pictures were handed out this weekend. Still has 2 teams left to hand out pictures from.

3 President Mike Kosderka Reminder we eliminated pitching restrictions in 60s and 70s because we have so many games in such a small amount of time. It s a little bit risky, but we would have run out of pitchers. Some coaches are using pitch-counts as a guideline. Aaron Menchaca is being over-pitched and then catching. Garet Luebbert will address it with Sean O Neil. Ryan told the parents, it is OK to ask that your child not pitch if he s exhausted. Getting lots of interest in additional teams of all-stars teams. 10/8 All stars 2 nd weekend of June. 9/11 All Stars 3nd weekend in July. Need to decide how we want to do All Stars Financial Support. We brought it up last month, but did not vote on it. Options: A: Each All-Star Team gets $1,500 from Cal Ripken Then league collects $100 from each player. League then also pays for State Tournament and Regionals (or where no State tournament exists, League will pay for one tournament). If your team opts out of state, you do not get funding from League. Votes: 0 (Board at Large) B: League Pays Nothing and team pays their own way. League still pays for State Tournament and Regionals. (or where no State tournament exists, League will pay for one tournament). If your team opts out of state, you do not get funding from League. Also, league will buy a box of balls. There will be a re-draft each year as there has been according to Mike Kosderka. Mike Kosderka There may be some 60/70s games this weekend. Zack Scott Why would the rec teams not play during prime weather for rec balls. Instead you send them out for tournaments and the league suffers. Zack thinks that May weekends

5 need to be saved for rec ball, and tournament teams should not schedule on May weekends at all. Next Month Board Meeting: Not yet scheduled.
