Saturday Paul Geremia For almost forty years, Paul Geremia has survived solely by the fruit of his musial labours. Having abandoned all other means of support in 1966, he has been travelling far and wide ever sine, performing in every apaity from street singing to lub and onert bookings, throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Through the years, Geremia has built a reputation as a first rate bluesman, songwriter, a sholar of early jazz and blues, and one of the best ountry blues fingerpikers ever with his tools - six and twelve-string guitars, harmonia, piano and a husky soulful voie - and with an innate sense of the humour as well as the drama of the musi, he keeps traditional blues fresh and alive with his performanes. Combining his interpretation of the earlier musi of people like Blind Lemon Jefferson, Robert Johnson, Blind Willie MTell, Srapper Blakwell and Blind Blake, with his original ompositions, he has reated a style whih is very muh his own. Musi Together is an internationally regonized early hildhood musi program for hildren and the adults who love them. Saturday John Shindler & Mihael Troy Originally from Saint Louis, John Shindler was influened early on by that town s rhythm and blues and his Oklahoma mother s singing. This funky start was drastially tempered by a nine-year stint in a Catholi seminary where silene and Gregorian hant were his daily bread. After leaving the brotherhood, and armed only with his vow of poverty, John moved to New England and pursued the path of an itinerant musiian, playing in sundry bands and bad barrooms. His musi is memorable, poignant, hopeful, wise, and passionate. Winner of both the 2003 Boston Folk Festival Songwriting Contest & the 2006 Rose Garden Performing Songwriting Competition. Mihael Troy has been playing solo sets and supporting others with a varied showase of his own work for over 20 years. In the past 8 years, Mihael has devoted more time to his musi, the results of whih are olleted in his debut release, Whispers in the Wind and his seond release Romaning the Moon. Mihael will tell you he has been a mill worker, fisherman, laborer and arpenter - however he has always ome bak to his first love whih is musi. Bill beame involved with the Boston folk sene in the early 60 s. Bill quikly beame a popular performer in the Boston area. In 1991, Bill entered his 4th deade as a folk performer. The majority of the shows are on Saturday night and start at 8:00 pm. The Open Mi night is the first Friday of eah month. During the shows we separate our listening room from the tiled dining room and the kithen with a theatre urtain. This helps keep the musi in and the kithen noise out. Sales Tax Inluded - Our pries inlude the 6% Connetiut Sales Tax. The pries listed on the menu are exatly what you pay. Our pries may seem to be inflated; however, a $8.50 menu item is atually $ $.48 sales tax. Furthermore, this pratie makes it easier for the ustomer, espeially if that ustomer is a hild who has exat hange for a ookie. What you see is exatly what you pay - what ould be simpler? 2. Not Market Standard Priing - We are not trying to fool the ustomer into thinking that $7.95 is less expensive than $8.00. We find this type of priing insulting to our ustomers. However, the reason it is used so extensively around the nation is that it works effetively. We don t like that pratie, and we also like to believe that our lientele is not so easily fooled. 3. No Pennies, Dimes or Nikels - Beause our pries inlude tax and we do not prie in the standard way, we do not have to use pennies, dimes or nikels. This is a servie to both the ustomer and to us. We don t give you lots of hange, and we only have to use quarters and fifty-ent piees. This also helps our staff to be more effiient performing transations, whih saves time and money.
