3 MOTION #1 Date of Meeting: December 22, 2016 Proposed by: Director Eisert I MOVE THAT Charles Phillips be approved to serve as a member of the Entertainment Committee. The Board s approval of the appointment of Committee members is required by Arizona Revised Statutes , and as stated in the Corporate Bylaws.

7 Date of Meeting: December 22, 2016 Proposed by: Director Eisert MOTION#5 I MOVE THAT the Paragraph titled Minimum Age Requirements for Guests of Board Policy Resolution No. 10, titled Code of Conduct & Rules & Regulations, and Paragraph titled Aquatic Facilities (Pools and Spas) item No. 2, be approved as amended and replace the previous Paragraphs titled the same. All other provisions of Board Policy Resolution No. 10 shall remain unchanged. Note: Amendments shown as highlights with strikethrough for deletions (example) and highlights for additions (example). Minimum Age Requirements for Guests All guests 18 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult (19 years of age or older) at all times while on RCSC property. Children ages 4 to 15 may use swimming pools during designated children s hours only and must be accompanied by an adult (19 years of age or older). Proof of age (birth certificate) must be presented at the time of entry for children under the age of six (6). Children ages 4 through 7 must have a supervising adult in the water with them at all times. Infants or children under the age of 4 years are not allowed inside any fenced and/or walled pool or spa area at any time. Guests 16 years of age or older may use pools (except Bell & Sundial) during regular hours but must be accompanied by an adult. No one under 18 years of age is permitted in Bell or Sundial pools. ACTIVITY MINIMUM AGE Basketball 8 Billiards/Snooker 14 Boating 6 Bocce 8 Bowling 4 Darts 8 Fitness Centers (minimum age for Bell & Sundial Fitness is 18 years old) Golf - practice facilities, driving range 8 Golf - Regulation Courses 12 Golf - Executive Courses after 1pm 8

RCSC Cardholders who misrepresent their guest s age or provide their RCSC card for others to use shall be subject to temporary or permanent suspension of all Cardholder privileges, including denial of use of any or all RCSC facilities, as determined by the Board of Directors. Aquatic Facilities (Pools and Spas) Pool heaters are set to maintain water temperature at 84 to 85 degrees in non-summer months. The Sundial therapy pool heaters are set to maintain water temperature at 92 degrees. Spa heaters are set to maintain water temperatures of 102 to 104 degrees. Fairway, Oakmont, Marinette and Sundial pools have special accommodations for handicapped persons. 1. No lifeguard on duty, users shall do so at their own risk. 2. Children ages 4 to 15 may use swimming pools during designated children s hours only and must be accompanied by an adult (19 years of age or older). 9 MOTION #6 Date of Meeting: December 22, 2016 Presented by: Secretary Lawry On November 4, 2016 the General Manager presented a balanced budget to the Finance & Budget Committee with no increase in the annual property assessment or any other fees. The Finance & Budget Committee recommended the Board approve the budget as presented, knowing that the passing of Proposition 206 would require change. On November 7, 2016 the RCSC Board of Directors came to a consensus that the budget as presented would go for motion at the December Board meeting provided that Proposition 206 did not pass. On November 8, 2016 the Arizona voters passed Proposition 206 increasing minimum wage 24% effective January 1, In addition, Propostion 206 will require RCSC to now provide accrued sick pay to part-time employees. With 55% of RCSC s personnel under the new $10.00/hour minimum wage and numerous payscales other than minimum wage being affected, plus the additional sick pay for part-time employees, RCSC s operating costs increased by $1M for I MOVE THAT the annual property assessment be increased to $ per year on the per property assessment basis and to $ per year on the per person assessment basis, effective February 1, I FURTHER MOVE THAT the the yearly Privilege Card cost be increased to $248.00, also effective February 1, 2017.
