1 2017 Membership Information Our History Greenwood Hills Country Club (GHCC) opened for play in the fall of The Greenwood Hills golf course is a true North Woods design. Our fairways roll through the naturally undulating terrain lined by old growth oak, maple, ash, and pine trees. GHCC offers its members the highest quality playing conditions in the Wausau area while being sensitive to our native plants and animals. This commitment allowed GHCC to become one of the first golf facilities in the state of Wisconsin to be designated as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary more than 15 years ago. Our members enjoy flexibility with six different sets of tees that start out with our Teal Tees at 4,800 yards and stretch out to over 7,000 yards from our Championship Tees offering our players a fun and challenging length course option for all skill levels. While serving our membership, Greenwood Hills has also serviced the community by being the host site to countless fundraising golf outings and functions for non-profit organizations benefiting the quality of life in the Wausau community. GHCC has also hosted prestigious local, regional and state amateur golf events and donates use of it s facility to support five high school golf teams in the Wausau area. Senior Individual Golfer (SIO) Unlimited Golf Access The Senior Individual Golf Option is defined as unlimited golf access for any individual age 65 and over during the current calendar year. Two-some Household Option (THO) Unlimited Golf Access The Two-some Household Option is designed for families that are between the ages of This option extends to any children under the age of 13 living in the THO residence on a full time basis. Defined as two people married or cohabitating within the same residence on a full-time basis. This membership extends to any children age 23 and under who reside in the THO residence on a full time basis. Members selecting the THO membership, may have dependent children age 12 and younger play golf under the THO membership at no additional charge. Family Golf Option (FGO) Unlimited Golf Access Defined as two people married or cohabitating within the same residence on a full-time basis. This membership extends to any children age 23 and under who reside in the FGO residence on a full time basis. (If the oldest child is under the age of 13 see the Two-some Household Option.) Senior Family Option (SFO) Unlimited Golf Access Defined as one of following combinations of two people married or cohabitating within the same residence on a fulltime basis one of which is the age of 65 or older during the current calendar year. This membership extends to any children age 23 and under who reside in the SFO residence on a full time basis. 1) Two married individuals. 2) Any couple cohabitating in the same residence on a full time basis. 5 Membership Benefits & Descriptions Junior Option Age (JR20) Unlimited Golf Access The JR20 Membership is defined as one person or a married or cohabiting couple who reside within the same residence on a full-time basis one of which is the age of during the current calendar year. This membership extends to any children age 23 and under who reside in the residence on a full time basis. Junior Option Age (JR30) Unlimited Golf Access The JR30 Membership is defined as one person or a married or cohabiting couple who reside within the same residence on a full-time basis one of which is the age of during the current calendar year. This membership extends to any children age 23 and under who reside in the residence on a full time basis. Dining & Golf Option (DGO) Ὰ la carte Golf Access The Dining and Golf Option unique to the golf industry as it is an Ὰ la carte membership that allows you to have maximum flexibility. When you pay your DGO Membership Fee, the fee associated dollar amount is placed in your GHCC member charge account and used like a debit card. Everything you do at GHCC from that point on is considered an Ὰ la carte purchase using your available DGO account credit. The available DGO credit must be used by December 31, The DGO is intended for use by an individual and his or her family which extends to a spouse, cohabitation partner and any children under the age of 23 living in the DGO residence on a full time basis. The DGO dues credit may be used toward any of the following purchases: Food and beverage purchases anywhere on the GHCC facility. DGO Member and family golf fees (A list of some of the fees that may be paid using DGO credit are available on page 8 of this document) All golf cart fees. Guest golf and cart fees Golf league fees and GHCC club event fees Locker and club storage fees Social club events such as wine tastings, cooking classes, breakfast with Santa, etc. Guest fees for the pool and any GHCC social events The DGO dues credit MAY NOT be used for the following items. Golf Shop merchandise purchases. (Merchandise must be paid for via cash, check or credit card at time of purchase.) Payment of the Capital Assessment Fee NOTE: The number of available DGO memberships may be limited at the discretion of GHCC management and are made available on a first come basis. NEW MEMBER Dining & Golf Option (DGO) Youth Sponsored Option (YSO) Unlimited Golf Access Ὰ la carte Golf Access The New Member Dining and Golf Option operates exactly like the regular DGO listed above. The New Member DGO allows an opportunity for a new member to try out GHCC at an attractive price. (This membership is only available for one year and is offered to anyone who has never been a GHCC golf member or has been inactive as a GHCC golf member for more than 5 years.) The Youth Sponsored Option is available to any individual 19 years of age or younger during the current calendar year. This membership classification is made available by GHCC to offer young individuals who s parents are not members of Greenwood Hills the opportunity to play and practice to improve their game for high school and college competition. 6 Membership Descriptions (Continued) Corporate Golf Option (CGO) Limited Golf Access Corporate golf memberships are intended for use by businesses, corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, etc. that are organized legal entities and are actively engaged in a trade or business. The business shall have $100,000 or greater of annual revenue. Greenwood Hills Management reserves the right to limit corporate memberships and has the ability to tailor CGO memberships to each individual business based upon specific needs. The business must appoint a person to be the Corporate Contact for the membership. This person will have the authority to decide the status and direction of the membership, along with determining the users (Golf Designees) under the provisions set forth herein. The Corporate Contact is not required to be one of the named Golf Designees. All Golf Designees must be either an owner, officer, director, manager or employee of the CGO Membership. The Corporate Contact may change the list of named Golf Designees by contacting the GHCC Office Manager. The number of available Golf Designees for each CGO Membership level is listed below. CGO-40 May have up to 3 Golf Designees CGO-80 May have up to 4 Golf Designees CGO-160 May have up to 5 Golf Designees CGO-240 May have up to 6 Golf Designees The business is responsible for all charges incurred during the course of Membership. A business holding a Greenwood Hills Corporate membership shall qualify under the following guidelines: 9 hole golf rounds including use of golf carts are purchased before the beginning of the season and are available in 40, 80, 160 or240 increments. Golf rounds may be used by the Golf Designees of said businesses or used by corporate guests of the CGO Membership. All corporate guests must be accompanied by at least one Golf Designee, unless special arrangements are may be made with the Golf Professional or Golf Shop Staff. CGO Memberships have the ability to donate a portion of their available golf rounds to be used by local fundraisers for charitable organizations. CGO Golf Donation Certificates may be arranged by contacting the GHCC Golf Professional. The business may elect to revise their list of Designee/s by notifying the GHCC Office Manager in writing. The business will be billed directly for all dues and facility charges incurred by the Golf Designees. Pool usage is available to all listed Golf Designees and their immediate family (children under the age of 23), and their guests (see pool guest fee on page 8 Optional Services ). All named Golf Designees may use the golf range and short game area at no additional fee. Any Golf Designees listed are allowed to purchase any of the offered Optional Services (for example, locker and club storage.) offered by Greenwood Hills. Corporate designee players are able to play at all GHCC reciprocal golf facilities. (See page 10) If any member selecting the Corporate Golf Membership exhausts their supply of golf rounds before the end of the season, they have the ability to continue playing by paying a fee of $50 for 9 holes and $100 for 18 holes which includes use of a golf cart. All CGO golf rounds expire at the end of the current golf season. All Corporate Golf Option memberships subject to approval by the Board of Investors and General Manager of Greenwood Hills. Page 6

7 Social Membership Option Descriptions Social Memberships (SMO) Limited Golf Access Defined as one of following combinations of people residing within the same residence on a full-time basis: 1) Any single adult individual. 2) Two married individuals living in the same household along with any children age 23 and under residing in the household on a full time basis. 3) Any male or female and their significant other living in the same household along with any children age 23 and under residing in the household on a full time basis. SMO Limited Golf Access SMO Members have two options available to play golf during the current golf season. 1) From course opening thru the Thursday of Memorial Day weekend and starting the Tuesday after Labor Day, SMO Members may play unaccompanied by paying the SMO golf rate of $60/ 18 Holes and $35/ 9 holes walking. During this time SMO Members may bring guest who will be charged the current GHCC guest golf fee. 2) Beginning on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day, SMO Members are permitted to play ONLY as an accompanied guest of another GHCC member for up to a maximum of five visits by paying the SMO golf rate of $60/ 18 Holes and $35/ 9 holes walking. Corporate Social Memberships (CSMO) Limited Golf Access A Corporation or Business may purchase a CSMO Membership and name up to a maximum of 4 families that would have Social Member Option access at GHCC. The rules and benefits of a CSMO member are the same as the SMO membership listed above including the limited play golf access. Dining Social Option (DSO) No Golf Access The Dining Social Option permits one Individual or family access to use the private dining facilities at GHCC. DSO Members have the following benefits Ability to charge their food and beverage purchases to a member house charge account Receive 1/2 off any room fees when hosting a dining or social event at GHCC. Note: DSO Members are limited to use of the dining areas at GHCC and do not have access to the use the swimming pool, winter trails or golf and practice range areas unless they are an accompanied guest of another GHCC Member. Winter Trail Membership Option (WTO) No Golf Access The Winter Trail Option allows the user access to our groomed winter trail system. Activation of a WTO membership allows the user access to Mulligan's Lounge, our private members bar, during the winter months. WTO members do not have house charging account privileges and are not eligible for any of the options listed under our Membership Benefits on page 8. Page 5

8 Additional Membership Information Annual Food and Beverage Minimums GHCC has no food and beverage spending minimums. Capital Improvements Fund Contribution Each membership is responsible for a mandatory contribution to the GHCC Capital Improvements Fund. The monies collected for this fund are intended for the use in the purchase of new items for club operations. EXAMPLES: New computers, golf course equipment, resurfacing and striping of parking lot, new carpeting etc. The use of these available funds will be supervised by the current GHCC Member Advisory Board. Membership Dues Payment Option Current GHCC Members have three dues payment options available to them: Golf Members have three payment options available to them: 1. Payment in full for 2017 dues on or before November 30, 2016 Members choosing to pay in full on or before November 30th will qualify for one of the Early Pay (EP) incentives listed below. EP Option hole guest fees EP Option hole cart fees EP Option 3 $250 toward unlimited cart fee or personal cart trail fees NOTE: SMO, DSO, CSMO and WTO membership options are not eligible for EP Incentives. 2 Payment in full of 2017 dues on or after December 1, Note: To be able to use the club facilities after December 31, 2016, dues must be paid in full or a payment plan must be arranged with the office manager. Any dues payments made in full using a credit card are subject to a 3% processing fee. 3. Monthly payments ( Equal monthly installments Jan. - June 2017) Monthly payments must be set up for payment via ACH using a credit or debit card. No monthly processing fee will be charged with this method. If an ACH payment method is set up for dues, all monthly charges for the 2017 season will also be charged to the ACH account set up by the member. Any payment options other than those listed above must be discussed with the GHCC Office Manager. Member House Charging Accounts All GHCC members are extended a house charging account that will be billed monthly. Members are expected to stay current with their monthly statements with financial penalties and potential suspension of membership privileges for accounts that become delinquent beyond 60 days. Swimming Pool Guest Fees Pool Guest Fee: $7 (Each Guest over the age of 4 will be charged $7.00 for each pool visit.) Seasonal Golf Cart Fees Member-owned Cart Use Fee $500 (Member must reside on GHCC property and meet club criteria for personal cart ownership) Annual Unlimited Cart Fee Individual $500 2nd Person on same membership $300 (Additional cart rider may be a family member or guest) Guest Play Rules All guests must be accompanied by a member unless pre-arranged with the Golf Professional Staff or Club Manager. Any non-member playing as a guest will be limited to five visits per calendar year at Greenwood Hills CC.
