9 Booking & Location Please note that all tournament bookings from 2018 have their corresponding date in 2019 reserved until January 15, 2019 at which point you must confirm the booking. All confirmations require the following: Tournament information and policies sheet Deposit according to group size A credit card number for day-of incidentals Any date not confirmed by January 15, 2019 will be opened to other events. 10 Tournament Policies and Regulations Deposit All functions will be considered tentative until a deposit is received to confirm the booking. Deposits are non-refundable. Initial Cancellations Cancellations within 14 business days of the event will be charged the full tournament fees. A tournament can only be cancelled if The Ranch deems the golf course unplayable. Tournaments play rain or shine! If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or some other act of God, the food and beverage department requires 60 minutes to prepare the tournament meal. Initial Payment A credit card must be provided to cover any additional expenses or damage incurred on the date of the function, even if you are paying your deposit by cheque, debit, or cash. An invoice will be ed on the day of or day after the event. Payment for tournament is due within 10 days. Any balances outstanding beyond 30 days after the event will be charged to the credit card on file. Initial Disclaimers Any negligent damage or lost equipment will be charged to the tournament, including but not limited to power carts, lost clubs and property damage. The Ranch will not be held responsible for loss or injury suffered or incurred by any guests. All signage, banners etc. must be picked up 72 hours after your event. The Ranch is not responsible for any signage left after 72 hours. Initial Food and Beverage All prices stated on current price list are subject to change and will be confirmed no later than 60 days prior to the function. Due to Provincial and Municipal health regulations, all food served must be prepared on the club premises. Any left over food must remain on club premise. Initial Liquor Policy The Ranch liquor policy is as per Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission guidelines. All alcohol must be purchased from The Ranch. Any outside alcohol will be confiscated and playing privileges may be revoked. This is a zero tolerance policy. Tournaments wishing to host a liquor hole must purchase alcohol from The Ranch. Hard liquor is purchased by the bottle. Consult with Event Coordinators for pricing. Drink tickets are also available and will be charged on the number of tickets printed. As per AGLC, only one alcohol hole is allowed per 9 holes. The Ranch requires 14 days notice for purchasing of alcohol for beverage holes. Initial Speed of Play Slow play is not acceptable and golfers are asked to keep up with the group ahead of them. Course Marshalls will monitor slow play and slow groups may be asked to pick up their ball and catch the group in front of them. For shotgun tournaments, a maximum 5.5 hour round is expected. For tee time tournaments, a maximum 4.5 hour round is expected. Initial Power Carts The Ranch has a fleet of 82 power carts on premises. Should an event require more than 82 power carts, please advise 10 days in advance. The cost of additional cart rentals will be charged to the tournament. Initial Miscellaneous At the discretion of The Ranch management, tournaments may be allowed outside caddies. If outside caddies are permitted, the tournament must pay for a minimum of 144 players, even if less players play. The Ranch reserves the right to put other golfers on the course with any tournament groups under 144 players. If you would like full golf course exclusivity for your group, you must pay for 144 players. The Ranch reserves the right to determine where sponsors, food & alcohol are located on the course and to change your start time, if necessary. Initial

The Ranch reserves the right to adjust your starting time based on availability. Initial Booking: The initial number of golfers must be within 25% of the actual number on the day of tournament. I.E. If f you put your number of players at 100 at time of booking tournament, the lowest you can go down in final numbers is 75. If you are below 75, you will be charged for 75. Initial: 10 Days: The Ranch must be notified 10 days prior to the event to give your final numbers +/- 10% I.E. If you book at 100 players and you are at 90 players 10 days in advance of tournament, your finalized tournament number can be as low as 81 or as high as 99. Initial: 2 Days: Final numbers must be given 2 days prior to the event. The customer will be charged for the guaranteed number or actual number served, whichever is greater. For example, if you booked your tournament at 100 people and gave us your final number to be 90 and 95 people are at the event, you will be charged for 95 guests.
