The course is built over three dis nct eleva ons, providing scenic views from the top of cliff vistas, in the meadow, along with our famous valley holes alongside the Sheep River. River s Edge has hosted many pres gious events in our history including the Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship and Alberta Bantam Championships. With an excellent choice of menu items provided by our talented chefs, along with our friendly Pro Shop staff, your guests are sure to leave with a smile. River s Edge Golf Club can accommodate groups from 24 to 144 with a tournament package that can be tailored to your event. Booking an event with us can be done in three easy steps: STEP 1: Review the Tournament Package, decide on a date you would like to host your event and es mate the amount of golfers who will be a ending. STEP 2: Contact us so we can answer other ques ons you may have. We will confirm if the date requested is available or arrange another date for your event. The minimum number of people required for a shotgun is 72. We will try to offer crossover formats for groups under 72. With the excep on of days with minimal daylight, shotgun events normally start at either 8:00 am or 1:30-2:00 pm. There are some excep ons on certain days, please contact us for more informa on. 3 2019 Meal Op ons All of our buffet meals can be altered to accommodate anyone who would like a chicken or vegetarian entree. Anyone with known allergies please ask the Chef for ingredients in the food. Prices are subject to GST. Breakfast Op on #2 Includes: Egg, cheddar, hash browns and bacon on a toasted brioche bun. On Course Food & Beverage: All alcohol and food must be purchased from River s Edge Golf Club. All dispensed alcohol must be done so by a cer fied ProServe employee from River s Edge. We do allow 1 sponsored liquor and food hole per nine. For all Tournaments we will have our clubhouse open to purchase food & beverages along with a mobile cart servicing your event. 4 Rules & Regula ons Dress Code: Blue jeans and T- shirts are permi ed if they are clean and do not contain offensive language or material. No metal spikes, tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, short gym shorts, or cut offs will be accepted on the premises. Shirts must be worn at all mes. Liquor Regula ons: Absolutely no liquor or coolers will be brought on to the golf course property. In compliance with the laws and regula ons set by the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission, all alcohol consumed on the property of River s Edge must be purchased from River s Edge Golf Club. Golfers who bring outside alcoholic beverages onto golf course property will be removed with out refund from the event and the property immediately. For the enjoyment of your guests please ensure that they are aware of this policy before they arrive at the course. Groups that wish to have a sponsored food or liquor hole must complete the appropriate form located in the tournament resource page on our website. Power Cart Usage: In the event a power cart is damaged by a par cipant, the tournament will assume responsibility for the repair of the cart within 30 days of the incident. By signing the tournament applica on, the organizers agree to hold River s Edge and it s employees free of any liability or claims for the use thereof. Speed of Play: All players will adhere to a speed of play policy in accordance with River s Edge rules. Each foursome is expected to keep up with the group in front of them. The Player s Assistant has the right to move groups and or remove players from the course. It is essen al that the tournament is prompt to their tee mes, and pace of play does not exceed 4.5 hours. Club Rentals: Each player must have a set of clubs, rentals need to be reserved ahead of me. Weather - Cancella ons/rescheduling: Tournaments will be deemed playable unless course management closes the course. In the event of closure and at the discre on of course management, the golfing por on of the tournament will be rescheduled. If this is not possible, our rain check policy will apply to all par cipants. The banquet por on will be held regardless of weather. Final Payment: Final payment for all tournament charges must be made prior to teeing off. The $ 500 deposit will be kept if you wish to book the tournament on the same day the following season. Groups that have arranged an open bar must reconcile the charges prior to leaving a er the event.
