3 WELCOME Golf NSW It is my pleasure, on behalf of Golf NSW, to welcome you to the State Final of the 2013 NSW Men s Fourball Championship at the magnificent Bonville Golf Resort. Congratulations for winning your way through the Club and District level of the competition. This is a great achievement. I am sure your experience at the State Final will be both enjoyable and memorable. Enclosed you will find details outlining the event and additional information for your reference. Please familiarise yourself with all the relevant details. The Golf NSW team on hand during the event are there to ensure everything runs smoothly, and that your experience at the State Final is a memorable one. 5 THE CHAMPIONSHIP Draw The draw for the first day s play is enclosed. A seeded draw for day two will be posted shortly after the completion of play on day one, and will be available at Bonville Golf Resort, and online at Registration You will be required to check-in with the Golf NSW team at the registration desk at Bonville Golf Resort each morning of play at least 20 minutes before your hit off time. Carts A cart will be available for use, free of charge, for each playing pair, on each day. Please collect your cart from the pro-shop, after you register, each morning. Practice Practice rounds will be available at Bonville Golf Resort on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 October Cost is $80 per person for 18 holes, including cart hire. Practice rounds are at the competitors own expense. Bookings are essential and must be booked through the Pro Shop. Withdrawal If you or your partner are unable to participate in the State Final, please notify us immediately by ing Julia Skamperle (julia.skamperle@golfnsw.org). As per the Conditions of Play, after the commencement of the competition no substitutes will be permitted. Handicaps Players will play off the handicap current at the first day of play. Proof of handicap may be requested i.e. GolfLink number or handicap record sheet from your home club. Dress Regulations Please note that the following dress regulations must be adhered to at all times: Collared Shirts; Tailored trousers or shorts; SOFT SPIKES only; Short socks (no anklets for men) are permitted. No Football wear, Board Shorts, Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, T-Shirts or Surfing Wear will be permitted on the Golf Course. State Final 8-11 October

6 GENERAL Registration: 5.30pm pm, Tuesday 8 October 2013 All players must register at Bonville Golf Resort with the Golf NSW team. At that time you will be issued with a player s pack which will contain a complimentary player s shirt to wear on the first day. Name Badges Name badges will be issued in your Player Registration Pack. You are asked to wear this name badge at both official functions. This is a courtesy to everyone and will encourage you to get to know other players. Shirts & Photographs A photograph of each pair will be taken on Wednesday morning prior to the first round of the Championship. On this day please ensure that you wear the official Final shirt enclosed in your Player Registration pack. Trophies Trophies will be awarded to the first three pairs based on the aggregate 36 hole 4BBB stableford total over the two rounds of the Championship. Trophies will also be awarded to the best 18 hole 4BBB stableford score in each round of the Championship. No pair may win more than one trophy NSW MEN S FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

10 MEALS Breakfast Breakfast will be served each day at your designated accommodation from 6.30am. Lunch Lunch will be at your own expense. To ensure a quick transition after nine holes we ask that you only purchase snacks such as pies and sandwiches. Larger meals may be ordered following your round. There is to be NO alcohol consumption on course for the duration of the Championship (Refer to Conditions for State Events at Other Meals Dinner is provided Tuesday and Thursday nights. All other meals are at your own expense as are phone calls, mini bar, laundry etc. Social Dinner Option Bonville Golf Resort will offer a social dinner option on the Wednesday evening. This will consist of a gourmet meal, followed by cheese and fruit platters. The cost for this is $35 per person. They will also run a chipping competition on the Terrace Lawn (also dinner venue) and provide a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for this. 12 ACCOMMODATION Golf NSW will provide, at their expense, accommodation on a Twin share basis for Tuesday 8, Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 October (buffet breakfast included) for competitors. Accommodation will be either at Bonville Golf Resort or the Opal Cove Resort.
