The field will be be made up in the following order from those not previously exempt: top 15 Professionals and ties from the 2017 PGA South Assistants & Trainees Order of Merit, top 15 Professionals and ties from the 2017 PGA South Assistants & Trainees Championship, leading 5 Professionals and ties from the Titleist & Foot-Joy A&T BetterBall Pro- Am 2018, leading 5 Professionals and ties from The Golf College Challenge 2018 (blank entries will be made), leading 3 Assistants or Trainees from the BB&O, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex 2017 County PGA Order of Merits, leading 3 Assistants or Trainees from the Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit 2018, Individual Professional Winners of any PGA tournament in 2017 and 2018, Professionals that have played in a minimum of 3 PGA tournaments in 2017 and 2018, any other Professionals taken in the order of the receipt of entry.

4 THE PGA IN ENGLAND (SOUTH) TOURNAMENTS 2018 TOURAMENT SCHEDULE: The up-to-date 2018 Regional Tournament Schedule can be viewed here: ENTRY PROCEDURE All Professional entries are to be made through the PGA BlueGolf Tournament System only. Members can access the system through My Tournaments tab in the Members Area of Closing dates for all tournaments, in general, are one calendar month prior to the date of the event and will close at 17:00 on that date unless otherwise stated. Members should check for exact details of each tournament on the PGA BlueGolf Tournament System. ENTRY FEES & PAYMENTS An entry fee is payable for all The PGA in England (South) tournaments. All payments are to be made online via the PGA BlueGolf Tournament System by credit or debit card only. Members must ensure that their credit or debit card details are current at the close of entries. Rejected payments may be reported to the Committee for their consideration. Late entries may be accepted after the closing date but may only be done so by telephone. Late entries for Order of Merit events may be made after the closing date will only be accepted on payment of DOUBLE ENTRY FEE. COMPETITOR INFORMATION All competitor information including draws, reserve lists, conditions of play, prize funds, course information will be available on the PGA BlueGolf Tournament System only. Any communications to Members regarding tournaments, including draws and conditions of play, will be made via and each tournament s webpage on the PGA BlueGolf Tournament System. There will be no postal communications. It is therefore vital that our records are up to date - please ensure your personal details, and in particular your address, are correct as a matter of urgency. 5 TOURNAMENT ENTRY CONDITIONS VIRGIN ATLANTIC PGA SOUTH ORDER OF MERIT TOURNAMENTS Category 1: PGA Southern Professional Championship. Category 2: Farnham OOM Finale. Category 3: PGA Southern Open Championship, The Oxfordshire OOM. Category 3a PGA Kent Open Championship, PGA Surrey Open Championship. Category 4: Keith MacDonald PGA South Match Play Championship. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit tournament entries will be allocated in the following order: (i) The top 25 Professionals from the PGA South Order of Merit 2017, who are exempt from Q School. (ii) The top 3 Professionals from the PGA South Assistant & Trainees Order of Merit 2017, who are exempt from Q School. (iii) The Leading non-exempt Professionals from each of the 2017 County PGA Order of Merits, who are exempt from Q School. (iv) Up to 10 sponsor s invitations, subject to approval of The PGA in England (South), to include the Regional Captain and the Regional Chairman. (v) Category 3a Tournaments Only: The top 25 Professionals from that County s 2017 Order of Merit, not otherwise exempt. (vi) The top 60 Professionals from the Q School venues, divided between all venues, subject to the starting field at each venue. (vii) Ex Ryder Cup players and former European Tour winners. (viii) Professionals finishing outside the top 60 at the Q School, in finishing order at the Q School. (ix) Professionals who have not attended the Q School, on payment of a 100 supplement at the first OOM tournament entered. (x) Category 3a Tournaments Only: Professionals from that County who have not attended Q School. (Supplement does not apply) (xi) Category 2 Only: The Farnham OOM Finale will be a limited field event. All players in positions 1-44 on the Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit 2018 at the closing date will be guaranteed their place in the starting field. The remainder of the field will be made up by invitations from the Tournament Committee. Order of Merit points will only be allocated to those Professionals within positions 1-50 of the OOM at close of entries, and any other player who is within positions 1-50 at the start of the tournament. (xii) TP3 Professionals upon payment of the 100 supplement. (xiii) Professionals who only wish to play in the Category 4 Tournament (Match Play) are not required to pay the 100 supplement.

6 ORDER OF MERIT PRO-AMS All Professionals must be available to play in the relevant Pro-Am of each Order of Merit Tournament entered. The top 25 Professionals from the PGA South Order of Merit 2017, top 3 Professionals from the PGA South A&T Order of Merit 2017 and the leading County PGA 2017 Order of Merit Winners have priority entry; along with the Regional Captain and Regional Chairman. QUALIFYING TOURNAMENTS (i) Results of all Order of Merit tournaments will qualify for the Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit (ii) The Order of Merit will be points based with points awarded to the top 75 Professionals and ties in each event. (iii) Category 1 and Category 2 Order of Merit tournaments will be Stroke Play tournaments played over 54 holes. (iv) Category 3 Order of Merit tournaments will be Stroke Play tournaments played over 36 holes. (v) The Category 4 Order of Merit tournament will be a Match Play tournament with each round played over 18 holes. (vi) In all Category 1 and 3 Order of Merit tournaments, after completion of the initial round of 18 holes, the field will be cut, subject to the final number of Professionals in the starting field, as follows: - Up to 111 players in the starting field: to the top 30 Professionals and ties to 120 players in the starting field: to the top 33 Professionals and ties. - More than 121 players in the starting field: to the top 36 Professionals and ties. (vii) In the Category 2 Order of Merit tournaments, after completion of 36 holes, the field will cut to the top 24 Professionals and ties. (viii) Category 4 Order of Merit tournament: Order of Merit points will be allocated to the top 32 Professionals.

7 PGA SOUTH ASSISTANTS & TRAINEES ORDER OF MERIT TOURNAMENTS Titleist & Foot-Joy A&T BetterBall Pro-Am The Golf College Challenge Assistants & Trainees Match Play Championship Assistants & Trainees Championship CONDITIONS OF ENTRY The PGA South Assistants & Trainees Order of Merit tournament entries may only be made from Registered Trainees and Assistant Golf Professionals, qualified 3 years and under on the date of the event, and will be accepted in date order, except for the Assistants & Trainees Championship, where the maximum field will be 78 Professionals and will be made up in the following manner from the entries received at the close of entries from those not previously exempt: (i) The top 15 Professionals and ties from the 2017 PGA South Assistants & Trainees Order of Merit. (ii) The top 15 Professionals and ties from the 2017 PGA South Assistants & Trainees Championship. (iii) The leading 5 Professionals and ties from the Titleist & Foot-Joy A&T BetterBall Pro-Am (iv) The leading 5 Professionals and ties from The Golf College Challenge 2018 (blank entries will be made). (v) The leading 3 Assistants or Trainees from the BB&O, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex 2017 County PGA Order of Merits. (vi) The leading 3 Assistants or Trainees from the Virgin Atlantic PGA South Order of Merit (vii) Individual Professional Winners of a PGA tournament in 2017 and/or (viii) Professionals that have played in a minimum of 3 PGA tournaments in 2017 and/or (ix) Any other Professionals taken in the order of the receipt of entry. QUALIFYING TOURNAMENTS (i) Results of all A&T Order of Merit tournaments will qualify for the PGA South Assistant & Trainee Order of Merit (ii) The Order of Merit will be money based with points and will be based on prize money won at all counting tournaments.

8 REGIONAL PRO-AM TOURNAMENTS OPEN TO ALL PGA PROFESSIONALS & REGISTERED TRAINEES WITHIN THE PGA IN ENGLAND (SOUTH) All Professionals must enter using BlueGolf for all Pro-Am Tournaments. The Top 25 Professionals from the PGA South Order of Merit 2017 have priority entry. The Top 3 Professionals from the PGA South Assistants & Trainees Order of Merit 2017 have secondary priority entry. The Leading non-exempt Professionals from each of the 2017 County PGA Order of Merits have tertiary priority entry. Any Professional who has had their team entry confirmed with the host golf club will be given automatic entry. Invitations from the host golf club and/or sponsor will be limited to 10% of the final field. The remaining places in the starting field will be filled by the other entries made before the closing date. Many Pro-Am tournaments will accept teams entries and any Professionals entering with their own teams are guaranteed their place in the tournament (subject to their team entry being accepted). Professionals should enter teams using the relevant official entry form which can be found on BlueGolf or on The PGA in England (South) Weekly Update . All Professionals will be required to pay an entry fee of 30.
