3 Management Summary This document includes details about my background, goals and aspirations, recent achievements and a sponsorship proposal outlining costs and expenses of a touring golf professional. I am looking for an investment in the region of 15,000 of corporate sponsorship, which could potentially be split amongst a small number of separate companies for one year s worth of funding. These include: entrance fees, travel costs and funds for subsistence while travelling. In exchange for sponsorship, the document below outlines all the different offers and potential benefits that are available when sponsoring a rising, touring golf professional. 3

4 My Background I took up the game at the relatively late age of 14 years old but achieved rapid inroads, reaching the top echelons of the amateur game by the age of 18 with a handicap of 0. Having played in 4 consecutive British Amateurs and spending 4 years in the USA studying at Old Dominion University, Virginia where I captained the Men s Golf Team, I turned professional at the end of August Now 29 years old, I am currently based in the UK, Marlow, Buckinghamshire. I am a touring professional predominantly focusing on the EuroPro Tour and Challenge Tour using Castle Royle Golf and Country Club as my base, where I am formerly attached. In my rookie season that stemmed from Dec 2013 Nov 2014 I enjoyed a lot of success which started by battling through 2 separate Q Schools and obtaining full tour cards on both the Alps Tour and EuroPro Tour. Throughout the season I played solidly, climbing the Alps Tour Order of Merit in search for 1 of 5 Challenge Tour Cards while playing a few UK based events to fill in gaps. As a result of my carefully planned scheduling, I won 3 separate events, on 3 different tours which included the Jamega Tour, TP Tour and Alps Tour. My most notable achievement so far has been becoming the Citadelle Trophy International 2014 Champion (Alps Tour) and earning the highest playing category available on The Alps Tour for 2015 and Due to my limitations form injury I have now been given a medical exemption for Finishing 24th on the Alps Tour Order of Merit and negotiating through to 2nd Stage of European Tour Q School in 2014 has given me a huge confidence boost moving forward. I ve recently returned from a back injury, which kept me from being able to compete through the majority of 2015 and hindered my performance through I m happy to report that I am now back to full fitness due to hard work in the gym and plenty of resting my spine. My aspirations are to become a world class touring professional, competing on the highest stage. With hard work and determination as well as being under the watchful eye of Rob Watts as my golf and fitness coach, I aim to make this dream a reality. 4

5 Goals and Ambitions Although injured through much of 2015, my goal is to build upon my success in 2014 and steady play in 2016/17 with the intention of obtaining a European Tour or a full Challenge Tour category within the next 2 years. I have given myself a time constraint of 2 years because I feel like this is enough time to develop as a professional, yet still continue to improve and compete at this particular level. I m lucky to have the support from Castle Royle now I am formerly attached there. I hope to follow in the footsteps of other local players like Tyrell Hatton and Eddie Pepperell who have enjoyed similar support from their home clubs and are now playing at the highest level in Europe. Ultimately, if/when a Full Challenge Tour/European Tour category is achieved; I will look to build upon the experiences gained playing on these tours in order to become one of the best European players within 5 years. 1-2 Year Development Tour Plan The nature of an aspiring touring professional is such that there is a period of time which needs to be spent learning how to play the game when money/prize winnings are involved. Many good amateurs fail to make this transition successfully even if they had a strong international career to that point. I ve been fortunate to have a very good first year as a professional to build upon, as it is a rare occurrence that a rookie should win an event in his first year competing on tour. The confidence that I have gained winning has elevated me to a new level and fully believe that I have the ability to reach my goals and ambitions of being one of the best in Europe. My development has been steady and constant throughout my golfing career, having to learn faster than others after taking up the sport relatively late compared to my peers. I have already surpassed many of those who were deemed more talented or skilled at a younger age. After gaining the highest and most sought after category on the Alps Tour (AT 1 Tournament Winner) my Medical exemption has been extended through to the end of 2018, which secures my playing rights into every tournament throughout Hopefully I will also have some Challenge Tour events dotted through my playing schedule. My aim by the end of the 2018 season is to have obtained my full playing rights on the Challenge Tour or European Tour for the 2019 season. 5

6 Equipment Support Some manufacturers offer promising young tour professionals equipment and other support even before they take them onto a formal staff contract. These staff contracts are normally offered once a tour player achieves a full Challenge Tour Ranking. I have been lucky enough to receive the following support: Clubs, Balls and Gloves Srixon/Cleveland Golf Apparel and Shoes Puma Golf This helps cut costs massively as balls and gloves alone are a large expense (in the region of 4,000 a year) 6

9 Sponsorship Proposal In order to fully fund my year of playing on tour throughout Europe I would need the estimated 15,052 to travel, train, play and compete effectively. This covers every aspect of my expenses and allows to me compete during the season without financial worry. In order to raise this desired amount through sponsorship, there are many things that I can do as golf professional that may benefit, enhance or entertain certain aspects of your business. 1. All tournaments are either televised or reported on national platforms with a lot of media attention both on social media and the Internet in general. Pictures are constantly revealed of players competing in clothing that is embroidered with company logos. This is a means of marketing and advertising and I have the agreement from Puma that I may embroider other logos on my apparel and golf bag. 2. I can compete or attend company golf days, giving clinics and advice to players who are less experienced as I am, giving tips and tricks to clients or staff who also attend. Golf is a social sport and large percentage of business is actually initiated and finalised on a golf course too. 3. When media attention is involved I would be sure to continually mention my sponsors through the medium of my social media, reaching all my followers and supporters as well. 4. Exclusivity and a permanent place on the footer of my fully operation website with links to your company site. 5. The possibility to attend some of the tournaments in which I compete. If scheduling works to the point at which clients or staff wish to attend a tournament in Europe while I m competing I will be at hand to socialise and entertain. 6. Provide sponsors with a regular newsletter and updates, keeping informed of my progress and tournament schedule. Sponsorship Funds Breakdown Taking into account that 15,052 is still a substantial sum of money, I look to raise it between a single company or a small number of separate companies. This allows time to be spread evenly amongst each, providing it is an equal share. The level of time spent with the company and staff, where the logo is situated on clothing and overall package I can offer will be proportionate to the amount proposed for sponsorship by participating businesses. If the amount were to be split evenly, then so would my time. However should one company wish to offer the majority of the amount proposed then they would be the business to receive the prime location for embroidered logos (chest or hat) and more time spent for golf days and events. 9
