2 ACTIVITIES TEAM BUILDING INITIATIVES Nemacolin Woodlands Resort embraces the values of team spirit and is able to provide your team with unexpected activities to rekindle strong bonds. These activities are designed to hone the critical skills of cooperation, ethics, communication, worklife balance, sales techniques, goal setting and leadership. Sample activities: The Bull Ring Centipede Shuffle Wordles Magic Carpet Blind Artist Climbing Wall Challenge The Pipeline Giant Puzzle Water Tubes X Marks the Spot Tallest Tower BREAKING THE ICE A fast and fun set of activities hand selected by the facilitator based on your group demographics. WIN IT! Zany team building games that highlight fast thinking and coordination to solve challenges. SCAVENGER HUNT Each team is provided with a digital camera, a map and clues. Explore and decipher the clues to learn something new about your team. This is a challenge that will take your group from one end of the resort to the other. MYSTERY BOX Complete multiple puzzles and brain teasers on the way to discovering the mystery to unlock the box. Crack all the clues to figure out how to open the final Mystery Box. HIGH ALTITUDE CHALLENGE Face your fears and discover how to manage and encourage your team through daunting challenges. The following activities are included: THE 40 FT CANOPY TOUR Climb atop the 40-foot Ropes Course along with instructors and traverse through 11 different obstacles and 3 zip lines. Teammates are encouraged to support, suggest and challenge each other through obstacles. FATBIRD SUPER FLYER Experience a true adrenaline rush as you soar down a 1,700 ft. long zip-line, a 1,300 ft. zip-line, and conclude with a chair lift ride back to the top! THE WALL Come face-to-face with one of the tallest climbing walls on the East Coast and conquer any of the challenging routes. Support from teammates is highly recommended in this challenge. RAFTING AND ROPES An outdoor enthusiasts dream. Climb atop the 20 Ropes Course while members of your team are challenged on a variety of different elements including the resort s dueling zip-lines. Then head out on the Youghiogheny River on a guided trip as your team works together paddling through Class III and IV rapids. LOW ROPES Without the fear of heights, discover how to relate small obstacle challenges to the everyday work place. Low ropes activities engage team members in challenges that involve greater physical effort and emotional energy. Support, building trust, control and coaching are necessary to successfully complete these activities.

3 ACTIVITIES OFF-ROAD BONANZA Get ready to get dirty with one of our most adventurous team building activities. Participants get the opportunity to drive offroad vehicles throughout the miles of wooded trails. Hidden stops along the way provide group challenges ranging from archery to fishing and more. Instruction is provided. BRONZE - 2 hours SILVER hour GOLD - 3 hours OUTDOOR HIKING This program invites you take a step off the pavement and into the Great Outdoors. Enjoy the company of nature and wilderness as you work together to complete some of our teambuilding challenges along the way. Groups along with a facilitator will go for approximately a 3 mile hike completing a total of 3 challenges before concluding their journey. May include the following activities: Bull Ring Pipeline PVC Rescue Snake Giant Puzzle BUILD A BOAT Bring your entire group for one of the most unique activities. We will provide you with the supplies: duct tape, 4X8 sheets of cardboard and garbage bags. Your team provieds the ingenuity. The ultimate goal, build a boat and paddle that will transport two of your team members across our family pool in a race for the quickest time. BUILD A SLED (WINTER) Inspires creativity and promises fun. We provide the supplies and you supply the imagination and hard work. Each team is given duct tape, 4X8 sheets of cardboard and garbage bags. The ultimate goal, build a sled that is sure to be faster than your opponents. A hilarious event that brings out the creativity in everyone. TOUR DE NEMACOLIN This exciting program allows you to build your team s morale and communication skills while contributing to a community in need. As your team solves challenges, they will be given pieces of a bicycle. Each challenge completed moves your team closer to building a new bicycle for young children in the community. Your organization may chose where to donate the bicycles. WACKY OLYMPICS Expect the unexpected with Nemacolin s very own Olympicthemed games. Designed to illustrate a variety of skills including cooperation, ethics, communication, goal setting, leadership and fun. 4 GOLF MYSTIC ROCK Pete Dye designed Mystic Rock paying particular attention to the environment, incorporating the large boulders unearthed during construction. Mystic Rock has a course rating of 77 and slope of 149 from the championship tees. As a former home to the 84 Lumber Classic, a PGA Tour event, Mystic Rock has played host to top professional players including Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh. SHEPHERD S ROCK Shepherd s Rock is a great combination of the most unique and enjoyable golf holes we have built, combined with stunning mountain views that speak to your soul. Tim Liddy, Golf Course Architect. The 7,151-yard Shepherd s Rock golf course offers extraordinary golf in a spectacular setting. The rolling bucolic terrain is ideal to fully utilize Dye s brilliant imagination in fashioning a routing that has drawn raves from both media and guests. The layout is a perfect companion to Nemacolin s PGA Tour-tested Mystic Rock. GOLF ACADEMY The Nemacolin Golf Academy offers an exceptional blend of instruction, club fitting and technology designed to help elevate your game. Our professional instructors use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to analyze swing, putter stroke and even ball flight to provide tailored instruction. Our world-class facility s golf technology includes: SAM PuttLab, V1 Video, BodiTracks and TrackMan. INSTRUCTORS The team is led by Eric Johnson, PGA, Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher four times since He is the only Top 100 Teacher in the tri-state area and recognized by Golf Digest as a Top 40 under 40 Teacher. Johnson s award-winning instruction combines the latest technology with a clear approach to the fundamentals of golf.

5 FIELD CLUB Woven through 140 acres of woodlands, valleys and pastures of the Laurel Highlands, The Nemacolin Field Club houses one of the nation s top sporting clays facilities and is the gateway to some of the finest fishing streams and creeks in the Eastern United States. SHOOTING ACADEMY Featuring 35 sporting clay stations spread across two courses, towers and two five-stand, the Shooting Academy can be tailored to challenge everyone from the most seasoned wing shooter to the novice. National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA) certified instructors provide private lessons for beginners to advanced shooters. ARCHERY Bring out the competitive spirit in everyone. We also offer an archery trap that can throw flying targets. Catered towards beginners and children. AIR RIFLE Test your aim at the Air Rifle Range with clay targets. Catered towards beginners and children. GUIDED BIRD HUNTS This 2-3 hour experience includes professional guides accompanied by a hunt dog on private property. Any hunter under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature. FLY FISHING The Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge at The Nemacolin Field Club is in a class by itself for anglers of any skill level. Anglers can choose from a number of Pennsylvania trout waters including the Youghiogheny River, Meadow Run, Dunbar Creek and Beaver Creek, where brown, brook and rainbow trout swim in numbers. Half and full-day guided trips are offered. Activities Include: Open Fishing, Fly Fishing Lessons and Guided Trips.

6 WILDLIFE BACKWOODS TRAIL RIDES Tour the scenic beauty of the Laurel Highlands by horse on a two-mile wooded trail. 24-Hour Advanced Reservations required. All riders must be 55 or taller and wear appropriate footwear (recommend boots or tennis shoes, no open toe shoes). PONY RIDES All riders must wear appropriate footwear (recommend boots or tennis shoes, no open toe shoes) and be able to sit up on their own. Parents are not permitted to walk next to them. DOG SLEDDING WINTER & JAMAICAN Join a sled team on a ride throughout the resort. Reservations Required. Weather permitting, and subject to availability. Two person maximum, combined weight of riders not to exceed 275 lbs. Minimum weight is 45 lbs. for children. Please wear appropriate clothing. Ride will run in the rain unless there is thunder and / or lightening. An ATV is used for dogs to pull & in lieu of a sled if there is not adequate snowfall. TOURS ENRICHMENT Help a zookeeper create toys, treats and puzzles for some inquisitive animals at Nemacolin s Wildlife Adventure. Animals included are located at Nemacolin s Wildlife Adventure. Tour does not include larger animals in habitats across property. Enrichment Tours are catered towards children. WILDLIFE NURSERY - GUIDED A guided walking tour of Nemacolin s Wildlife Adventure interacting with animals in the nursery. Reservations Required. Please note the species of animals are subject to change. WILDLIFE NURSERY - SELF GUIDED Walk through Nemacolin s Wildlife Adventure to learn about exotic and domestic animals. SAFARI Marvel at wolves, tigers, lions, buffalo and more as you learn about their species and have an opportunity to feed them. Reservations required. Weather permitting. The safari cart is open-air, the tour features outdoor exhibits and guests may experience a great deal of walking. Please wear weatherappropriate attire and proper footwear (recommend boots or tennis shoes, no open toe shoes).

7 SCHOOL & YOUTH FIELD TRIPS WOODLANDS ADVENTURE Test your skills on the 50 Climbing Wall, then head to the outdoor Wildlife Habitats where bears and buffalo abound. Cap off the day by teeing up for a round of miniature golf. WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE Get up close and personal with some of Nemacolin s animal family. The Wildlife Academy is dedicated to educational programs that enrich and entertain. Wildlife associates lead you on an adventure as they introduce and teach about the animals. PACKAGE OPTIONS Day of Fun Upgrade Add Quick Jump or Target Paintball. Ultimate Experience Upgrade All of the adventure of the High Altitude Package, plus add a game of bowling and arcade tokens. Fatbird Super Flyer Upgrade Upgrade any of the packages with a thrill-seeking zip line totaling more than 3,000 feet down the mountain. DAY OF FUN Enjoy our 50 Climbing Wall with three levels of difficulty. After the wall, head down to miniature golf and play 18 holes. Choose either an hour of bowling or time in the Olympic-style Hardy Girls Gym to cap off the day. HIGH ALTITUDE Begin on the 50 Climbing Wall where you can challenge one of three different skill levels. Conquer the ropes course complete with the feet-dangling excitement of the zip line. 18 holes of miniature golf is also included. A Little Tykes Altitude Package is available for younger children.

8 SPA & HOLISTIC HEALING CENTER SPA & WELLNESS SESSIONS These can be booked as a 30-minute Wellness Component or 1 hour session. They can be performed within your meeting space, at the Holistic Healing Center, Reflection, or anywhere on Nemacolin property. YOGA De-stress, increase blood flow, and boost your mood with Yoga. All of our classes are all levels friendly. Styles include Walking Yoga (great for outdoors), Restorative, Yin, Chair and Vinyasa. We can also customize your session with essential oils or sound therapy. MEDITATION We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. Let our experts lead your group through a controlled meditation session. Try our walking meditation through Robin s Holistic Garden or a seated meditation in any event or meeting space on property. TAI CHI Derived from Chinese Martial Arts. Our Exercise Physiologist will take you through a series of low-impact, continuous slowmotion exercises to awaken the body. This practice is often referred to as meditation in motion. WELL-BEING WORKSHOPS These workshops can be booked for 1 hour or more. They can be performed within your meeting space, at the Holistic Healing Center, Reflection, or anywhere on Nemacolin property. HEALTH & NUTRITION Learn basic dietary theories, healthy recipes and ways to implement them into your daily life. STRESS MANAGEMENT Let our specialists guide you and your team through a series of stress relieving techniques and give you tips and tricks that will help bring your mind and body back into balance. VISION BOARD Align business goals with personal ones by creating an overall vision for your company that the entire team can get behind. LEADERSHIP Learn strategies on how to keep your employees motivated and productive while staying focused on the overall vision of the company. 9 ART & SCULPTURE OPEN STUDIO Guests are welcomed and encouraged to explore various art techniques at leisure. Relax, de-stress and experiment either on your own or participate in guided art activities led by Nemacolin s Art Instructor. Discover the wellness properties that creating art can offer. Choose from four different package options: 30, 60, 90 & 120-Minute. THE ART OF TEAMWORK Work together on pre-drawn canvases, to create colorful prints. When combined, these collaborative pieces of art form beautiful murals. Groups can choose from famous works of art to their own company logo. Fun and Festive. TOTALLY TIFFANY Explore the art of stained glass in the manner of Louis Comfort Tiffany or Frank Lloyd Wright. Guests of all ages can create a window cling for home or office. Nemacolin s Tiffany Collection serves as inspiration for these hand-crafted organic designs, and Frank Lloyd Wright stays true to the geometric patterns of the arts and crafts period. PAINTERLY PRINT Gelatin printing is an exciting art process filled with experimentation and personal expression. Unleash your inner artist and create modern masterpieces to rival Warhol. Instructor-led class. No prior art experience necessary. POSITIVELY PAINTING Flex creative muscles during this 90-minute, instructor-led painting event. Have fun, relax and take home your own positively wonderful acrylic on canvas masterpiece. ART TOURS Consisting of over 1,000 individual pieces, the multimillion dollar Hardy Family Art Collection graces all aspects of the resort. This in-depth tour begins with a complimentary glass of wine while we share with you the history of the Hardy Family Art Collection. Beginning in the Chateau Lafayette, you will be escorted to view some of Nemacolin s hidden art gems. This tour can be customized for your group s needs. CLASSES FOR CHILDREN Have a budding Matisse in your family? Children between the ages of 5-12 will take home artwork of their own.
