Head Coach Assistant Coach 16th - NCAA A West Regional Assistant Coach 16th - NCAA A West Regional Assiatant Coach 16th - NCAA Championships ps Amy Bush was named the third head women's golf coach in history, Director of Athletics Jim Livengood announced in June of Bush had spent the previous three years as the top assistant to former head coach Missy Ringler. During that time the Rebels made three consecutive appearances in NCAA Regional tion and one trip to the NCAA Championships, where they turned in a program-best finish of 16th overall in Since 2007, the program has posted 15 top-10 finishes in regular-season tournament play. competi- "Amy is the perfect person to follow Missy in leading the women's golf team," Livengood said. "She has prepared very well for this opportunity and will be an outstanding head coach. Our student-athletes will be well served by Amy's leadership." Prior to joining Ringler's staff, Bush was the Chapter Coordinator for the Southwest Section PGA, where she was responsible for the overall operations for Las Vegas from 2005 to She was the tournament director for numerous events, including the PGA Junior Series, Arizona Open and the Southwest Section Championship. She earned the 2006 Las Vegas Chapter Golf Professional of the Year while working at the Southwest Section PGA. "I am excited to build on the foundation that has been set here at," Bush said. "I am looking forward to the start of the fall season, as we return a solid core of players and will welcome in a good freshman class as well. This is going to be a lot of fun. I truly enjoy being able to work and help the student-athletes every day." Bush served as the assistant golf professional from at SouthShore Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort, working on the day-to-day operations at the course. She also served as an assistant golf professional for the TPC at Summerlin where she assisted with a PGA Tour event and a Champions Tour event. Bush graduated from New Mexico State in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in professional golf management, from a program that is sanctioned by the PGA. In 2007, Bush completed her Master's Degree in Sports and Leisure Management from. Bush graduated from the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy in Denver, Colo. in June In 2010, she also attended the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy Dimension 2 which was held in Boston, Mass. In 2009, Bush was once again honored by the PGA and was named the 2009 Bill Strausbaugh Award winner for community service. Currently, Amy serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the Board of Directors of the Southern Nevada Chapter PGA. Bush has more than 11 years of experience as a golf professional and is a Class A member of the PGA of America. In addition to coaching, Bush is active in the Las Vegas community, having most recently instructed a promotional otio clinic for women in golf at the 2010 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, held at TPC Summerlin. Bush was married to Kendall Herzer on August 7, The couple resides in Las Vegas, NV. page 12

3 Mountain West Champions kyle Kyle Helms was hired as assistant coach for the women's golf team during the summer of Helms is a 2007 graduate of the PGA Professional Golf Management program and also earned his master's degree this year from in sport and leisure services management. "Kyle is a great addition to our program," said Bush. "He brings an incredible amount of knowledge along with the great experience he gained throughout his golfing career. Kyle will be an asset to." Helms boasts extensive experience in the game of golf. He played onboth the Hooters Tour and the Carolinas Pro Golf Tour, and he has also worked at Congressional Country Club, Bali Hai Golf Club and The Broadmoor Resort as an assistant golf professional. In 2008, Helms returned to Las Vegas to work with the PGA Professional Golf Management program and complete his master's degree. Helms is a Class `A' Member of the PGA of America. page 13
