2 FIHB WHR Under16 Champions League 2015 (3 stars competition) Turin - Italy July 18 th and 19 th 2015 Preliminary Program This event is organised in accordance with: FIHB General Rules, version 3.2; FIHB Sport Rules, version 7.4; FIHB Organisation Rules, version 6.6; FIHB Competition Rules 2015, version 1.0; FIHB WHR Rules 2015, version 1.0. All subsequent published revisions, the provisions of which will take precedence. An arbitration procedure is provided for in the FIHB Statutes and General Regulations referred to above. In accordance with this procedure, any appeal against a decision rendered by the FIHB or its official bodies is to be settled exclusively by the FIHB Disciplinary Commission. It is the responsibility of NFs to ensure their participants are of the correct age and of the correct nationality.players have to comply with the provisions and rules of their own NFs. 7 III. Entries 1. ENTRIES FIHB WHR Under 16 Champions League Nominated Entries (GR ) Definite Entries (GR ) by June 15 th by July 5 th 2. ENTRY FEES Inscription per Team: 1300,00 The inscription fee includes: 8 boxes ( 7 for horses and 1 for tack) with first bed; dinner on Friday, dinner and party on Saturday for 10 persons. Accomodation per Team: 600,00 Please note that hotel availability in Turin on July is very limited and hotel rooms are expensive. Advance reservation is then mandatory to get the reduced price. The fee includes: hotel: 2 nights in 3 stars hotels for 10 persons in 5 double rooms; arrival on Friday July 17 th, departure on Sunday July 19 th ; breakfast included. Inscription and accommodation fees have to be paid by cash on site. Inscription of all participant to FIHB. All the participants (players, horses, coaches, clubs/nations, referees) to a FIHB WHR competition have to be registered to the FIHB by paying her/his/its FIHB fee as below described. PLAYERS Each team can come with 6 players but a minimum of 5 players are mandatory. 4. HORSES Each team can come with 7 Horses but minimum 5 horses are mandatory. IV. Facilities 1. TEAMS (10 persons) Hotel: for those teams that pay the accommodation fee (see III.1): Aba Hotel (3 stars) tel.: Via Villafranca, Moncalieri (TO) Meals: dinner on Friday, dinner and party on Saturday for 10 persons. Additional dinner for the members of each national delegation or companions costs 20 (25 on Saturday party included) to be reserved in advance. 2. HORSES Transport: Stabling: First bed: Extras: transport expenses to be paid by the Teams. stabling is free of charge for 8 boxes per team. first bed with straw is free of charge. 9 3. WELCOME The time and date of arrival of riders and horses and their means of transport must be given to the OC in order to facilitate them on arrival. HORSE ENTRIES IN THE SHOW GROUND From July 17 th (Friday): from 06:00 until 17:00; For late arrival please contact Mr. Vincenzo CIOFFI at Horses must leave the Show Ground at latest Monday July 20th before 12:00. In the moment of the arriving the Team Leader must give the horses passports and the Identification cards of the players to the OC, in order to control the inscriptions and what is established in the FIHB Sport Rules and General Rules for horses and players. 4. ADVERTISING AND PUBLICITY ON TEAMS AND HORSES The Teams are authorised to carry the logos of their personal sponsor. V. Miscellaneous 1. PRIZES - CLASSIFICATION FIHB medals for all the players, coach and team leader of the first three teams for the FIHB Under16 Champions League 2015; Trophy for the winner of the FIHB Under16 Champions League 2015 offered by FISE; FIHB trophy for all the teams; FIHB trophy for Best Fair Play Team; FIHB trophy for Best Horse/Player combination; FIHB trophy for Top Scorer; Rosettes for all the players offered by Esercito Italiano and FISE. The prize Best Horse/Player combination will be decided by the Team Leaders (with their coaches) and by the Ground Jury. The prize Best Fair Play Team will be decided by the pool of referees and the Organizing Committee. 2. PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY All the players must be present, on horse back, in the Prize Giving Ceremony with the Team Leader and the Coach. All of them must respect the information of the Stewarts in order to guarantee the best ceremony organisation. 3. INSURANCES All owners, players and other members of the Teams are personally responsible for damages to third parties caused by themselves, their employees, their agents or their horses. They are therefore strongly advised to take out third-party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep the policy up to date. ver.1.2 of 25th March 2015 Page 9/14

10 4. ENTRY RIGHT TO SHOWGROUNDS The entrance in the Show Area for Horse-Ball matches is free of charge. The entrance on the Stables Area is just allowed for Teams. Owners can enter by appointment of the Team Leader and with an authorisation of the OC. 5. Outside this period, the cost will be at the player s expense. 6. Outside this period, the cost will be at the player s expenses. VI. Veterinary Matters 1. VETERINARY INSPECTION BEFORE THE MATCHES A veterinary inspection will be carried out each day on all participating teams for that day at least two hours before the matches. 2. They should request every facility to assist the movement of horses accompanied by FEI or NF s Passports, and the necessary veterinary certification at frontier points into and out their countries. (Vet. Regs. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENTRY OF HORSES Details on compulsory health tests and, where applicable, quarantine period and protocol, etc. PLEASE APPEND SPECIMEN IMPORT LICENCES WICH WILL BE APPLIED TO HORSES ATTENDING THIS EVENT. In case of doubt or problems, please contact the FEI Veterinary Department as soon as possible. VII. Competitions 1.
