3 Rules and Regulations General rules The competition will be run under Federation of Equestrian International (FEI) and Thailand Equestrian Federation rules(tef). In any circumstances where FEI or TEF rules are not available the Organizer will have the authority to make a decision. The organizer has the right to -Bill any participating club the cost of cleaning stables or repair work -Alter advertised times if necessary. -Cancel any event or class. -Divide any class. -Refuse any entries. -Increase or decrease the height of the obstacles depending on the entries. Competition rules All riders are expected to wear a hard hat, riding boots and shirt when on the horse. Prize giving All placed riders have to attend the prize giving ceremony in their competition outfit. All riders are expected to participate in the prize giving mounted or not mounted accordingly to the organizers announcement. Arena Show Jumping Competition arena: Sand, 36x72m Warm up arena: Sand, 20x60m (max of 7 riders are allowed)

4 Show Jumping rules Thailand Championship rules Please get information and details from the Thailand Equestrian Federation directly. Team competition Minimum team members are 3 and max 4(one drop score).riders can select team only(entry fee 1,000Baht),individual only (1,000 Baht)or both Team & Individual placing (total 2,000Baht).Both team classes are run under Article (one round against the clock). Article (Power & Speed) This competition comprises two phases run without interruption,the finishing line for the first phase being identical with the starting line for the second phase. Judged and rules according to the aggregate penalities in both phases (jumping and time faults) and if necessary according to the time of the 2nd phase. Unless eliminated Athletes penalised in the first phase MAY continue in the second Phase. Equitation Jumping A course of 8-10 fences,indoor arena.the judging criterias are 1.Jumping performance and technique of the horse 2.Riders ability in the course,rythm,riding aids,approaching and landing,riding the lines in balance,cleanness of the jump 3.Riders and horse appearance Stabling Guest stabling is available on first come first serve rule. Permanent stabling: (with mosquito nets) Permanent stabling: (without mosquito nets) Temporary stabling: 700 Baht per day 500 Baht per day 300 Baht per day The competition grounds and stable area must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Washing down horses should be done in the washing bays only and not inside the stables. Cooking inside the stable modules will not be allowed. Smoking is prohibited in all stable areas. No groom accommodation. At the end of the competition, all stables must be cleaned of all dung and waste Vaccinations and blood tests

5 In order to keep Bangkok area as an EIA Free Zone it is required that your horse is being regularly tested for Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) and Surra every 3 months. For everyone s best interest your pony must be vaccinated against Equine Influenza and Japanese B Encephalitis (JE). Horse passports (National or FEI) and negative updated blood results for EIA and Surra are required upon check-in, to be handed to the secretariat office.all horses must wear their horse number at all times.horse numbers will be handed out at the secretariat office Accommodation Rooms for rent are available at our Horse Lover s Hotel. Family room: (bunker beds, max 4 persons) Twin bed room: (max. 3 persons) 2000 Baht/night* 1800 Baht/night* Insurance * per room, all rooms are full air conditioned with hot shower and separate bath room. No breakfast and meal service included All owners and competitors are personally responsible for damages to third persons caused by themselves, their employees, their agents and their horses. They are therefore strongly advised to take out third party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep their policy up to date. Code of Conduct 1. At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation. No abusive animal treatment will be tolorated. 2. Horses and competitors must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids. 3. Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event. 4. Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed.
