5 3 Provisional time table Friday, May 28 th, 2010 Arrival of participants (if coming from far away it is possible to arrive in the preceding days prior notice at the time of the subscription). 14 am to 18 pm there will be veterinary visits and follow-up monitoring equipment. At there will be a briefing. The starting order will be notified and will be distributed the adornment chest for all categories. Dinner at the hippodrome. Saturday, May 29 th, 2010 At 7 am we will read the map for category C4 and follow all other categories. Then there will be the beginning of the POR competition. In the afternoon the young category will exam of paces (PPA) Dinner at the charts and subsequent exposure of the charts of the day. Sunday, May 30 th, o'clock performance of exam of paces (PPA) of the remaining categories, followed by PTV test. Lunch, exposure charts and during the afternoon there will be the awards ceremony. This program might be changed depending on the number of members in each category. P a g e 5

6 4 Starting order: The starting order of teams and participants will be raffled at the Friday, May 28 briefing. 5 Judges: The jury is composed by the training committee 6 Rules: This Championship will be held under international TREC rules by FITE (conditions ). By submitting their entries all federations and participants accept the TREC rules of FITE. The participation is on own risk of the riders. The organization will NOT be responsible for any damage caused by athletes, their horses, officials, their employees/grooms or their representatives. The veterinary inspection is no warranty for the health of the horses. P a g e 6

7 7 Horse Passports: FEI passports are not compulsory for the participation of the horses. The horses need a valid national passport for their definite identification. Following details must be listed in the national passport: Horse diagram Person responsible/owner Record of Vaccination against Equine Influenza Infectious anemia (Coggin test) Even if in the country of origin of the horses no national regulation exists for vaccination against equine influenza, all horses must have a valid vaccination certificate. 8 Health certificate: At the time of first examination, i.e. upon arrival of the horses on the show grounds and before entering the stables, every athlete is required to have on hand the health certificates and supporting documents required for the transport to the event and admittance to the stabling area. The certificate must be issued in at least one official language of the country of destination and in one official language of the member country. The athlete must carry with him the original certificate, not a copy! The organizer sees to it that on the competition site an accredited veterinarian is present to issue health certificates which are necessary for the transport of the horses to their destination abroad. All inquiries regarding Health Certificates can be addressed to the authorities in the country of residence or to the veterinary office where the event takes place. P a g e 7

8 9 Horse inspection: Each athlete must submit his horse, as well as the accompanying documents Friday, May 28, 2010, between 2 pm and 6 pm within the restricted area; The equipment monitoring will be made following the veterinary examination. 10 Medication control: A tutti gli atleti: questa manifestazione è stata scelta dall ufficio doping del Coni. Code of Conduct: The FITE expects all those involved in equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI s Code of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount and must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences. 1. At all stages during preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation. 2. Horses and athletes must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and misuse of aids. 3. Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event. 4. Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed and that they are treated humanely when their competition careers are over. This covers proper veterinary care, competition injuries, euthanasia and retirement. 5. The FEI urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their area of expertise.
