1 Livestock Schedule of Classes APRIL 2017 ASB SHOWGROUNDS, AUCKLAND

2 Welcome to The 2017 ROYAL EASTER SHOW Proudly Supported by Streets Hosted by the Auckland Agricultural, Pastoral & Industrial Shows Board in conjunction with the Auckland Agricultural & Pastoral Association and proudly supported by Streets, I extend a hearty invitation to all for the 2017 Royal Easter Show. With increased entries in all A&P events in 2016, I expect the classes for the 2017 Royal Easter Show to be highly competitive. The Equestrian Committee put together a great show in 2016, with in excess of 1400 entries. This is a phenomenal achievement given the upheavals of the last 2 years. Threats from the RAS, loss of facilities (due to a major development) at Alexandra Park, and withdrawal of membership rights by the RAS. Sadly, 2016 was to be the last Show for Shirley Watts, Convenor of the Equestrian Committee and Honorary Life Member (joined in 1947). The Auckland Agricultural & Pastoral Association wish to thank all competitors for their loyalty and commitment and extend a warm welcome and generous hospitality for the 2017 Royal Easter Show. Neil Sidwell President, Auckland Agricultural & Pastoral Association PLEASE NOTE: Format and Standards will be consistent with The Royal Easter Show Rules and Regulations. The 2017 Royal Easter Show Management Team Chief Executive Officer Mark Frankham Ph / Head of Operations Dean Mulholland Ph / Royal Easter Show Office Melissa Hore Ph
